Pet Stop of the North Bay

Chris is a true pro and a real pleasure to deal with. He knows dogs and he knows his business. He is exceptionally responsive. When I first rang Chris up to inquire about Pet Stop, he agreed to come out later that day to give me an estimate. After I shopped around and decided to go with Chris, he installed within a matter of days. He did a careful and thorough job of laying the wire, including embedding it invisibly along the edge of my driveway. When I had a problem with the system, I emailed Chris and he called me within minutes — well after business hours — and instantly agreed to fix the problem.
I will use Chris in the future and strongly recommend him.

My dogs have had an electronic fence for years that Chris set up for me. It is great the veggie garden is safe from canine foragers. If someone leaves the gates open the dogs don’t leave. Unfortunately last week I discovered it wasnt working, after checking for problems and not finding one, I called Chris. He came out with his handy dandy radio device and found two failed spots in the wire. For those few days without the fence I wouldn’t let the young dog out in the yard alone for fear she would get out. Thanks again Chris

I’ve been meaning to leave this review for awhile. I cannot say enough good about Chris and Pet Stop of the North Bay. One of our dogs has terrible dog aggression, and, even though we have a fenced yard, he would race up to the fence scaring the wits out of anyone walking with a dog. It was always an extremely stressful situation being out in the yard.
Before contacting Pet Stop, I tried to do an electric fence myself off of Amazon. I gave up after an afternoon of attempting to dig the wire into our hard ground and called Chris and it was the best decision I could have made.
He promptly came to give me an estimate, figured out how to install the wire (which involved weaving it through an old pipe at one that I thought was going to be impassable) and installed it within a matter of days. He was professional and caring throughout. I can’t imagine what else he could do to make the experience better, he even sends us batteries every few months. Money well spent, thank you Chris!

Chris is highly knowledgeable, customer service focused and always professional. My extended family has used Pet Stop on a number of properties — saving the lives of a number of family dogs from getting hit by cars. Chris is always responsive, punctual and provides the highest level of customer service at all times — often finding creative solutions for difficult problems.
If you have a pet that is an escape artist or one that is in danger of exposure to a busy road, I HIGHLY recommend giving Chris and Pet Stop a call. Some people might be concerned about an animal getting a shock, but I felt it myself and it really is a bump. My dog felt the «bump» once and learned that he didn’t want to go there again. He has not gone past the line since. This has been a system that has worked for over ten years with my family and for many of our friends.
I can not say enough kind words about Pet Stop and Chris! Give them a chance, you won’t be disappointed!

My husband and I have worked with Chris and Julie over 20 years — 3 dogs. 2 of the dogs wouldn’t have lived to old age without the electronic fence and great support from Pet Stop North Bay. We had an animal shelter and a private dog trainer tell us the fence wouldn’t work for our current dog — a chow mix with strong predator tendancies. Well — they were completely wrong.
