History

Established in 1990.

The Bonneau Family settled in the Sonoma Valley area now known as «Schellville» in the early 1920’s. August Bonneau opened up the first A.F. Bonneau Corner Store to serve travelers going between San Francisco and the Sonoma Valley. 90 years later, 3^rd and 4^th generation Bonneau family members operate Carneros Deli (opened in 1990) and Bonneau’s Schellville 76 & Corner Store. Together, they serve over 1000 customers a day, providing them with food, drink and fuel.

Meet the Manager

Carneros Deli’s manager, Barb, is the 3^rd generation of the Bonneau family to work on The Corner. She has spearheaded evolving the deli towards more gourmet offerings, but with a local, small-​town friendliness. Her older brother Dan Bambury is owner/​operator all three of the Bonneau businesses on the corner and is assisted by his son, Chris Bambury, who is the General Manager. Together, the three work to keep Carneros Deli up to the standards set forth 90 years ago by August and Catherine Bonneau.
