I can’t say enough how much we truly enjoyed working with Robert Stewart for our wedding in Mendocino. Picking the right photographer was so important to us. After we reviewed Robert’s incredible portfolio on the Artseed website, we knew his photo– journalistic style was exactly what we were looking for. He was the first vendor I called to try and book and thankfully he was available! From the beginning, Robert’s easy going personality and calming force were so appreciated as we nervously navigated through the wedding planning process. He was professional, very responsive, patient, and informative of the many options he offered. After we saw the wedding photos for the first time… we were in complete awe. It was as if every emotional highlight that we felt that day re-​surfaced again. Robert is an amazing talent and super nice guy! We can’t thank him enough for giving us the memories, captured through his photos, of the most joyous and perfect day of our lives.

When we decided to get married In Mendocino, Ca we needed to find a local photographer. So I researched and Robert Stewart came up. His pictures were breathtaking, I had to hire him! He was very easy to work with. But the bonus was how amazing our pictures turned out. He was truly awesome with the candid shots and I would never recommend anyone else!

Eva-​Lena created a custom marriage certificate for my husband and I that is one of our favorite keepsakes from our wedding day. I highly recommend working with Eva-​Lena. She communicated clearly and worked with me to get the details just right. I sent her many emails regarding size, custom images, text and Eva-​Lena always replied speedily and with helpful responses. The ultimate certificate had custom birds representing each of our home states and is just gorgeous.

Robert is not just an incredible photographer, he’s an incredible human being. He brings humor, empathy, experience, vision and love to your wedding experience, and the images that he captures reflect it. His images captured the spirit, the flavor and the joy that was our wedding. Throughout the planning process, at the wedding itself and after, Robert was a steadying force, a phenomenal resource and a source of positive energy. In his photographs, our wedding will live in our hearts and minds forever just as will his indelible contribution to our lives.

Finding the right wedding photographer can be a daunting task especially when there are so many to choose from. Robert Stewart came highly recommended by the photographer I had originally contacted after we had learned that he would be out of the country during our wedding. My husband and I are photography enthusiasts; my sister even told me that it will be hard to please me since she knows how picky I can be. We felt that Robert would do a wonderful job after we reviewed their portfolio on their website. He was very prompt in replying to my initial email with a lot of useful information regarding packages and prices. When we finally had the chance to speak to each other on the phone, we automatically clicked and I knew he was the guy for us! I told Robert what we were looking for; we wanted to document our wedding as it was happening; that we wanted the shots to be more candid. We could not have been more pleased after meeting him for the first time on our wedding day. It felt like Robert was somebody whom we have known for a long time. We did not even notice him during our wedding and yet there were hundreds upon hundreds of stunning pictures from that unforgettable day. We truly enjoyed working with him. He has a way of making everybody feel at ease when he was taking pictures. We have received countless compliments with our beautiful wedding pictures. The details and the composition of the pictures speak of Robert’s great eye and true talents. Robert, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for capturing our special day. Our pictures will always remind us of our great love story.

Having an illustrated wedding contract was on my wishlist ever since we began planning our Big Day. In the chaos of wedding planning, this detail got lost in the mix and we failed to commission one; suddenly there was less than 2 weeks to go before our wedding. Unable to let go of the idea, but knowing what joy it would bring to have this momento, I remembered seeing the amazing work of Eva-​Lena Rehnmarkon her website. With high hopes, but expecting her to tell me that it was too late to commission this work, I called her. Within the day, she called me back to discuss details and establish whether or not enough time was allotted. We were so excited that she fit us in to her busy schedule– working with us in our budget and tight time crunch. She was fabulous to communicate with– she listened very carefully to what our vision was for the contract, she offered a variety of options, built on our vision with wonderful, personalized ideas, and was in consistent contact throughout the process. Eva-​Lena quickly sent us sketches of the proposed illustrated wedding contract and was very open to our feedback regarding color schemes and additional details we desired. When she sent the final image of the contract, we were blown away by its beauty. With only a couple days to go before our destination wedding, Eva-​Lena expedited the shipping of the contract, sending it to our wedding planner with days to go before our Big Day. When we saw the contract in person on the day of our wedding, we were overjoyed– it is even more beautiful in person! It truly captures the beauty, magic, and love that we experienced on our wedding day and reminds us daily of the vows we made to one another, blessed by those with whom we celebrated; especially our mothers who had signed the contract with us. Thanks to Eva-​Lena, we have this beautiful keepsake and a very personal art piece. Thank you, Eva-​Lena!!!

I don’t know where to begin in saying how wonderful our experience was with Artseed. Robert was the photographer for our wedding and Eva-​Lena essentially our creative director. As my husband commented of Robert’s work, he «has the instincts and timing of a photojournalist, the artistry of a masterpiece painter, the heart of a poet, the taste of a museum curator and the footprint of a ninja.» I couldn’t have said it better myself.
Eva-​Lena conceptualized and designed everything we needed, invites, logos, save-​the-​dates– and then some! Everything was gorgeous and inspired. She was patient when we changed our minds (we weren’t the easiest I think…) and even helped me with research, her suggestions useful and practical. Eva-​Lena is an artist of the highest caliber yet she’s down-​to-​earth, genuinely a sweet and fun person to work with.
Artseed Weddings & Events made our wedding so much less stressful than it could have been. They were calm and extremely competent, but more importantly, they are just awesome people.

Our family had no idea what we wanted and asked Robert to use his own creative ideas. When we received our portraits, I was crying. They were amazing! He captured the best in all of us. I not only would recommend Robert, but will continue to have our family portraits taken by him for years to come. Robert and Vic’s photography was a big highlight of our wedding. Both were complete naturals with us and our friends and family. They really captured the natural essence of people and did some great closeups of details. It was a pleasure to get to know Robert during our engagement shoot, that by the time the wedding rolled around many guests thought he was a friend or family. He is very professional and timely in getting proofs to us as well. We can’t wait to have him take photos when we start a family.

Robert did our christmas card photographs and they turned out to be exquisite. We had lots of feedback from friends and family about how fantastic the picture of us was. Robert has an eye for detail and he thinks of unique angles that would have never crossed my mind. He is truly talented and I highly recommend him!!!

Robert is a fantastic photographer, and totally easy to work with. His priority was capturing what we wanted, but he also had very pro suggestions. The resulting photos had a great mix of elegance and fun.

I used Artseed for wedding photography. Robert was easy to work with as we planned the wedding, and he was an unobtrusive presence at the wedding. And the pictures were really beautiful — journalistic yet lovely.
We had some difficulties afterwards in putting the album together. My husband and I got really busy, had a baby, had another baby, etc. We were very slow in selecting our pictures. But we also found that sometimes it was difficult to get in touch with Robert about the album. At other times, we found him very responsive, and he upgraded our album for free because of the difficulty we’d had in reaching him.
At the end of the day, I have a beautiful album with beautiful pictures. I think that if you stay on top of your album and select your pictures quickly, you’ll have a great experience.
