Agua Caliente Aquatic Center

I love the size of this facility. It is perfect for parents that wish to exercise while there children are in lessons. It’s worth the extra $ you spend for this convenience. However, good luck getting your children into them. It seems that even if your children are signed up for lessons you are on a «need to know» basis. The Sea Dragon web site has very little information. Dates and prices will be all you will get off of that site. It would be nice to have times, deadlines for sign ups… No mater how many times you go into the club and give your name, email, phone number still nothing. It looks like Petaluma or Napa may be the answer for swim teams/​lessons. It’s sad that a local can’t find a way on to this swim team. One more thing to the club, please update the changing rooms, and towel service would be nice. You may have more members if you did these two things.

The pools are not closed, they are still operating under the name of Sonoma Aquatic Club. Physical therapy in the pools is still offered by Caliente Springs Physical Therapy.

This is the spot I rehabilitated out of a wheelchair after a diagnosis of Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy. Mike Gilman and Mike Kelly from the adjoining CSPT are the best~ I highly recommend the drive from Santa Rosa to experience the warm water therapy and clean facility. They constantly monitor the temperatures and keep it sparkling. There is nothing like this anywhere else for aquatic therapy. Without Mike and Mike, I would not be where I am today. Even though it changed ownership, Mike and Mike are still next door and I continue to use the facility.

50 Meter pool!!! Nice three lanes. Hot tub and showers. Great for swimming!
Blast out a tan and enjoy here… loved coaching here and swimming there… owners are good too.

Facility is nice and clean. Reasonable rates when compared with other local gyms with less amenities. Friendly staff.

The pool is great, clean and well cared for.
The price to join is a bit on the spendy side. I say this because I feel like the facility should be in better condition to charge health club prices. The lockers rooms could use an update: painting and the flooring needs replacement. My husband says the men’s room is pretty horrible in terms of the décor and locker condition.

Well, in the past I would have given this place 5 Stars, no doubt !!!
I’ve been a happy member for many years. I’m married and have 3 kids. Our family used to spend a lot of time at the pool during the week and also on weekends for all these years since this place opened.
Unfortunately the ownership changed.
This brought a few changes with it.
All new employees are nice and respectful. (5 STARS)
The owner on the other hand is very rude !!! (1 STAR)
All of my children learned to swim at this place and it is very sad that after many years of good memory one person can ruin so much.

I am an MD and I regulary refer patients for PT here. The care is top notch and outcomes are very impressive. Patient feedback has been very positive. This is at the to of my list of PT facilities.

Two reasons to go to the Aquatic Center
#1 — The personalities! The people who work there are awesome. I have never left there with anything but a smile on my face. Humor is a great healer.
#2 — The water is fabulous!
I had tried chiroprator for my back and acupuncture but the only long term relief I have gotten from several injuries has been from the treatment I received at Caliente Springs. I have tried several other places for physical therapy and this one was by far the cleanest, most up-​beat, professional and effective. I won’t go anywhere else from here on out!!!

Agua Caliente Aquatic Center and Physical Therapy is a good facility for physical rehabilitation and therapy due to major surgery or recovery from an injury.
Go there for the water. The pool and the whirlpool are really helpful in restoring strength and vitality. I had a total hip replacement this past summer and after less than 10 visits I was able to regain strength and return to work and my usual routine.
The atmosphere is pleasant and friendly. Yet like any exercise or routine program, much of the progress depends upon the patient’s willingness to recover and build up strength.
The pool and whirlpool is filled with natural spring mineral-​waters that has been flowing from the ground around that area for years, Hence the name Agua Caliente.
Before making an appointment, make sure your health insurance will cover the visits. And, that you have your doctor’s prescription.
All appointments are made over the phone or in person.

I was hit by a red-​light runner right in my Driver’s side door. Whipped to the right, after the adrenaline rush subsided, I knew I was going to be in some hurt. What did I do (well, after the maddening pull over to the side of the road and try not to kill your attacker moments, cops questioning and insurance calling)? I went to the ACAC.
I’d been here before, there’s a pool for laps, one for workouts and one for warm therapy. Sometimes a Girl needs to get herself straightened out, and Wednesday was another feather in the Physical Therapy cap for ACAC. I was seen right away and it’s because of this and the total miracle hands of the Therapist that I am not in a world of hurt.
Everyone here is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and funny to boot! I hate when things go wrong, but I love that when they do, I know for sure & certain that I am in the hands of the best at this center.
Ask for Michael Gilman, he won’t let you down. He’s a Saint.
