Bagster, would I use it again? No in one word, It was the most inconvenient product /​service I have dealt with in a very long time. After scheduling and paying for the pick up I was notified by email the bag was going to be picked up very quickly. But then the truck never showed up, I called customer service they said the truck came by but the straps didn’t touch so they wouldn’t take it. Now here is the truth, I have 24hr security video that shows my house, yard, street and everything in between. not to mention I had actually tied the straps together to assure there wouldn’t be any glitches for this pick up because I needed this bag removed asap due to upcoming snow ect. SO anyone who claims different can purchase the dvds for the week of this scheduled pick up. I called customer service again, I was told the driver had come by for pick up a second time. It never happened, again I have 24hr security video that shows different. Finally after one too many calls to customer service and too many return calls it was finally picked up. This was way too much of a hassle for the little that this bag actually holds. For about an extra $ 75.00 I could have had a real dumpster dropped off that holds much much more that also has guaranteed drop off and pick up days. I am in the process of renovating three different houses and thought this would be a great alternative but I was very wrong. I will never use Bagster or WM again. I will also make sure I tell as many as possible how bad this experience was. I will be using Facebook, Twitter, Unilocal,Google and good old fashioned word of mouth.

My review is specifically for the Bagster Dumpster Bag service, which we ordered for a property in Natick. I saw these big green bags at Home Depot and the concept seemed pretty great, but I was hesitant after reading reviews on Unilocal saying it was unreliable. I’m here to report on how it went.
We tried the Bagster Dumpster Bag because it was the most cost-​efficient method in our area for removing a LOT of concrete. Local businesses were quoting about $ 400+ to get rid of our crap, but the Dumpster Bag would cost us about $ 200.
So we loaded up the bag in our driveway. We scheduled a pick-​up and waited. Now it wasn’t fast, I’ll tell you that, so if you need your bag gone by a precise date this may not be the service for you. We scheduled our pick-​up for a day, and the bag was picked up about 8 days later. That’s about all I can report. No mess, no problems, just a little bit of a wait and worry that they wouldn’t come. But they did. Yay!
You do have to make sure the bag isn’t under a tree or power lines, because a giant crane needs to be able to scoop up your bag. You also can’t put yard waste and branches in the bag. If you break their rules, they won’t pick up your bag. Basically, don’t be stupid and your order won’t get ignored.

My primary complaint is about their FALSE ADVERTISING as it relates to when they say they will pick up the Bagster.
Today is Thursday, September 10, 2015 and I (my company) just scheduled my 30^th Bagster Collection since May 2015.
Here is how it works:
Picture #1: The promise is bold red letters is: «We will collect your Bagster bag and all of its contents within 3 business days from your bag ready date.»
My Bagster is ready right now, today (9÷10÷2015)! So … allowing for pickup only on business days … my Bagster should be pickup up on or before the end of Tuesday, September 15, 2015. Right?
NOoooo!
Picture #2: Next you go to the calendar to select your Bag Ready Date … but the FIRST date they let you select is Thursday, September 17, 2015 … SEVEN DAYS after my actual Bag Ready Date!
So … allowing for pickup only on business days … my Bagster should be pickup up on or before the end of Monday, September 21, 2015. Right?
NOoooo!
At this point in the process, I am not very happy. My pickup has gone from the promised (bold red letters, remember) 3 days to now 7 – 11 days.
BUT WAIT … THERE’S MORE…
So … I select the first date they allow me to select (seven days from now) and what do I see next? A pop up window with the following…
Picture #3: In big green letters «We’ll be there within three business day» Which we now know is actually 12 real days.
Then they confirm in regular black lettering «We will collect your Bagster bag on September 17, 18, or 21.»
THAT’S STILL NOT ALL!
On the same little popup window … in little red lettering … it says «And your bag will be collected within five business days.» So now we are looking at a pickup of September 23^rd! 13 Days after my REAL bag ready date!!!
And to be fully clear … this has been the exact same timeline and process for ALL 30 of my Bagsters! In FIVE months they have not made a single correction to their false timeline. To add insult to injury, in this five months, they HAVE changed a few words (In May, they 5 day pickup was blamed on the winter storms, now it is just blamed on overwhelming demand).
IF they can change that wording then they could have easily changed all the other locations where they promise 3 day to 5 days or 13 days!
What SHOULD they do (In my humble opinion):
1. First and foremost, they should be honest and real! «Your Bagster and it’s contents will be picked up between 7 and 13 days after you notify us» At least that way I could plan accordingly.
2. If demand is SO overwhelming for 5+ months … pick up on Saturdays to get caught up!

Waste Management trash collection: I rented a dumpster for an office building I own. So many hidden fees it will make your head spin. Don’t rely on the rate they quote you in their contract. They get you to sign a three year contract. This is just the bait price. Then each month you pay fuel surcharges that are not insignificant — try 25% to the contract price (it’s all in the small print of your contract — they must have great lawyers). You will never pay the price you were quoted. When it comes time for the contract to end after three years, you cannot cancel it unless you gave certified written notice no less than three months before the contract end date and not more than six months. The contract automatically renews on you if you are not diligent. My waste management bill was quoted at $ 121.36 per month. I routinely paid over $ 165. It goes on and on and it’s all in the fine print of the contract.
I now rent a dumpster from an independent hauler for $ 35.00 month. Shop around, you will likely save thousands of dollars over the three year contract.

absolutely the worst experience. More expensive for the amount of debris than a hauling company; delays in picking up; did not pick up anyway and then charged me $ 50 for overhead wires — did not knock onn my door to ask or move the bag the three feet that their stronger workers certainly could have done faster than myself at 5’1″ and 130 pounds.
The bag spills and does not contain well. The only small advantage is you can fill slowly over time. But if no one picks it up and charges you anyway, who cares?
BIG thumbs down.

Waste Management says they will pick up their bagster in three days… oh no, five days, oh no, we don’t know when.
DO NOT USE THEM if you need the BAGSTER picked up in a timely manner. For example if you are moving, they will not do what they say they will and they will not give you any satisfaction at all.

As a new resident in an area where WM is contracted by the city I can say that service by them is deplorable at best. I live on a small not so busy roadway where they come and do one side then do the other side about 6 hours later. A couple of times they didn’t even do a pick up at all on our side. I’ve had to call WM and the Mayor’s Office. It is baffling to me. They pick and choose what they want to take. Additionally, the collectors are lazy and wont pick up the trash that falls out of the barrels while they are emptying them in the truck. It doesn’t help when they just drop the barrel in the roadway. For God’s sakes, put it back where you found it! They must have been the lowest bid for the city to award them the contract.

Lots of headaches and problems trying to use them. The first time we used bagster a year ago we had no problems. This time it was completely different. My wife kept calling for a pickup. At first we were told it would be a few days. Then as that time went by we were told they would be there on the weekend, as we had gone to «the top of the pickup list». Then the weekend came and went and our trash was still on the sidewalk. On Monday they acted completely shocked, shocked I say that it was not picked up. Tomorrow, it will be done tomorrow, we are so sorry. Tuesday came and went. When by wife called again they were pissed at my wife! But it will be done tomorrow they said. When my wife called the next day they could not give a date when it would be picked up and acted as if they wish she would go away. So we called someone else and it was gone the same day. I was told by these junk people that if bagster does not come in two days they do not come at all because your on someone’s route that doesn’t want to go to your neighborhood. So it’s hot or miss with these people

Always an issue with Waste Management’s Bagster service. They are never on time, the 3 day window is always the last day, at best, possibly later. They recently cancelled one of my pickups saying it was overloaded, i evenly divided my debris amongst 2 bags in an effort to avoid this! In the past i would have loaded all the debris in one bag and still had at picked up, no sweat! Perhaps people at WM are just getting lazy, who knows??? Can’t win with this service and no one knows anything. Can’t reach from street, can’t reach from driveway, though bags were in driveway! Are we even trying to reach? Never again, I am done. Great idea, horrible execution.

I use them for trash removal at my rental home. The dumpster gets picked up as scheduled. Their website is fairly easy to navigate and pay my bills on it.
Their customer service on the other hand leaves a lot to be desired. Every time I have a problem that needs the help of an actual human, it takes at least two phone calls to resolve the problem. Unfortunately I re upped with them for another yer. Next August, I take my business elsewhere.

I eschew the Sony creed of pushing overpriced vainglorious junk around the world, that ends up poisoning landfills.
So now I have to eat my words, because Sony’s taking it all back. Literally.
Sony has contracted Waste Management, the largest garbage and recycling processor in the U.S., to recycle unwanted Sony products. FOR FREE. Sony is the only electronics manufacturer I know of to institute a nationwide recycling program for their own junk. They are doing it with little fanfare, and it seems entirely out of goodwill for the planet. Would love to see other manufacturers follow in Sony’s lead.
