History

Established in 2004.

Veracious Productions was started in 2004 when Vera graduated from Skidmore College with a degree in visual communications. She was able to combine her passion for documentary filmmaking and photo journalism while working as an artist producing videos for individuals and companies. She especially loves capturing weddings, as it very meaningful for her and every wedding is different. Clients love Vera’s documentary un-​obtrusive style, it also helps that women feel comfortable with other women when they are getting into their dresses!

Business Owner

Vera grew up in Miami and moved to New York City when she was 14 to live with her sister, a film student at NYU’s Tisch film school. While there Vera developed a passion for filmmaking and often helped her sister on shoots. Vera graduated from Skidmore College with a BA in visual communications and started Veracious Productions upon being hired by the college to make promotional videos.

Upon moving to Cambridge, she started to shoot weddings and teach filmmaking to high school students.

Vera obtained her masters degree in educational technology from Harvard University and teaches part-​time at Wellesley HIgh School. She enjoys «giving back» what she has learned, while still staying an active producer of projects.
