Tamar Mastering offers Mastering for Music, Film and Internet, and specializes in Forensic Audio, Audio Enhancement and Restoration. Our fresh, unbiased, and professional approach safeguards the integrity of every song while producing the clearest, loudest and most honest sound possible. Final projects are equalized, balanced and brought to maximum volume levels in order to be competitive with industry standards. Audio Enhancement and Restoration are performed with great care, using restoration and Forensic software via a Digital Workstation. Our goal is to provide our clients with the most meticulous, and timely service possible.

History

Established in 2002.

I first started as the chief engineer at Tape Complex Inc. in Boston, the largest real-​time duplicators in the East Coast. Towards the end of my time there, I started mastering and ended up being the Chief Mastering Engineer there, right down the road from my alma mater Berklee College of Music. I now specialize in Audio Enhancement for the legal community while still mastering for music, film and tv, and have relocated to Somerville.

I am a Board member in the Recorded Evidence division at the American College of Forensic Examiners Institute.

Berklee College of Music graduate in Music Production and Engineering. Our class received the Technical Excellence and Creativity award (TEC) that year.

For the last 12 years I have been consistently training with the latest software to ensure that I am current with new software and techniques.

In 2008, I received the 1^st prize (single person, not group) at the Audio Engineer Society –Audio Forensics Conference in an audio enhancement competition. It was an international competition, and I am very grateful to have such magnificent peers in my profession.
