Great variety of brazilian ingredients and good sausages. They could definitely make the place appear better by just mopping the floor and dusting the shelves. ***Ótima variedade de ingredientes brasileiros e lingüiças deliciosas! Eles definitivamente poderiam melhorar o ambiente simplesmente passando um pano de chão e tirando o pó das prateleiras.

a little bit of everything! reasonably tasty no-frills mom and pop buffet at gentle prices(plantains, meats, pasta, rice, beans, salad). dino eggs(you like kinder eggs? you’ll LOVE dino eggs. i love giving these to kids, because i’m a terrible person, like that). they also sell kinder eggs. they also sell all the brazilian fruits in the frozen fruit aisle(caju, acerola, others) — bom café, i love you, but i love the idea of making my own smoothies as well. they also have a butcher section and a reasonably good-sized selection of portuguese breads and some pastries, some of which shares overlap with market basket, because market basket really does have everything. i’ll have to hit up the other brazilian grocery store at some point, but for a non-assuming shop, this hits the spot. p. s. i ran a credit card purchase for under $ 5 and they didn’t hate me.

Since new management took place… This store is getting better-and-better everyday. My mother-in-law who is visiting us for a couple of days, loved their food. Very well seasoned and tasty excellent.

The store is dirty and the items are way over priced. A can of beans costs $ 1.07 while at the Brazilian store across the street, the same can of beans costs $.79. The store is filled to brim with items that have been sitting there for months. If you are looking to buy Brazilian products, walk a little more to Solucao on 38 Bow St, Somerville, MA2143. The items are neatly stacked and the store is always clean and well kept. Pao de Acucar also has a minimal credit card purchase of $ 5, which is a violation of their contract with Visa & Mastercard, see link: and

You will find cured meats for fejoada, Acao(super fruit from Brazil’s rain forests) mounted cows heads, perfume and soccer shirts. I recommended the chess bread and coxinha(chicken and dumplings). I love their hours of operation from 6:30 am to midnight daily(feel like I am in NYC) The owner — Eduardo Rosa who is from Brazil is known throughout the community for cooking feijpada for 500 people at church functions.
