Best subs in the area. Fresh ingredients. Meats and cheeses are sliced right into the sub. Not sure why anyone would go to Subway down the street. Great family owned business. Hidden gem.

I don’t work in this area anymore, but most days I wish I still did. Just get an Italian with everything and thank me later. When I finished grad school at Harvard a few years ago I sent family visiting me for commencement to P&K for lunch. It was a million degrees out and they had to watch all us students parade across the stage in our cap and gowns and when I saw my dad again the first thing he said was«that was a really good sandwich.»

This unassuming place has some of the greatest sandwiches you can find. It’s a family business run by Mark and his wife. I have been going here for years and make it a point to grab lunch here whenever I work in the area. The subs are made on fresh braided rolls with fresh veggies and all the deli meat is sliced freshly for each sub by Mark. If you have been there once he probably nows your name, even if there is a line you will have your sub suprisingly quick. If you go there at lunch you will get to witness contractors acting like giddy little school girls waiting for their subs, I might even be one of those giddy contractors waiting or skipping back to my truck. Yes it’s that good, and cheap too.

This deli is great. The guy at the deli is real friendly and has great food and fresh fresh veggies! Whenever I go and get a sandwich it’s always made pretty quickly.

Don’t be fooled by the appearance… this place has the best sandwich in Boston. The owner is the nicest man you will ever meet. I think it’s family owned for several generations.

First time I walked in to ask a question, I was treated very hostilely, I did not buy anything and decided to take my business elseware.

Great deli! I’ve been going here since I was little and actually just went today. The roast beef is the best and cheaper than going to a chain grocery store.

I can’t speak for the actual deli part of this store, but the«grocery» part isn’t bad. There’s an odd selection of magazines, lots of Hostess desserts, some fresh produce, and a couple of other basics(toilet paper, etc). The walls behind the big counter are lined with things you might need in your house or kitchen – baking soda, canned tomatoes, batteries, etc. But the people who work here are so nice! Seems like it’s family run. AND it’s literally around the corner from my house, so, bonus. The hours are weird, though. Usually isn’t open on weekends, but then I walked by around 12:30 on a Saturday afternoon and it was.
