Stumbled in here after a few hours at Legoland with my niece. My best friend was interested in buying a steeper and while she was doing her purchasing, my brother, niece, and I wanted to smell teas. All the employees were nice, but one guy stood out. I wish I knew the red headed gent who helped us, but he was soooo nice. My niece is 4, and while children at that age are cute, they are also a handful. This guy was patient and literally let her smell something like 15 different teas they had behind the counter. Best way ever to get us to buy a cup of tea(or two). So thanks, David’s Tea guy. My niece appreciated you letting her«Smell the smells».

Excellent place to go if you are a first-timer to tea(like I am). Staff is helpful, upbeat, and knowledgeable about the tea and the accessories surrounding it. Need to sniff your way through their dozens of canisters to find what you like? They will happily pull down whatever you need and let you take as long as you want. Because they serve cups of tea as well, there is also a tiny seating area towards the back of the shop. There are either 2 or 3 tables, I can’t remember.

I love all DAVIDsTEA’s and this one is just like the others with bright walls, a clean feeling, great tea and super helpful staff who know about all of the teas. I’m amazed at what they can remember! They always have at least 2 different types of tea for you to try.

David’s Tea has quickly become my favorite tea shop after just a few visits. Not only are the teas high quality and very affordable, but they have some of the nicest staff of any establishment I’ve been too. While all the store are great, Maddy was my tea guide today and she was incredibly knowledgable and friendly. I could not have asked for a better person while I was deciding which of the dozens of teas that I want. Definitely recommend this location!

This place is great! Every time that I have been here customer service has been exceptional. I was not a tea drinker but introduced to David’s Tea by a close friend and the employees were great and took the time to help my find my style. They are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly; and this has been my experience every single time without fail. I visited today and was helped by a guy named David,(I know, it was tough to remember) and when I asked if they accepted tips he said no but that they appreciate Unilocal reviews, which spurred this one. Bottom line: whether your new to the tea game or a long time enthusiast, this place is(EXPLICIT) AWESOME! Check it out!

The chocolate macaroon latte is like a dessert! Chelsea suggested it and she is always so helpful and friendly when I go to the store. I returned and bought a tin of it and another latte on my next visit! Would highly suggest visiting this location no matter what your tea taste, especially if Chelsea is working!

A fun place to walk into if you love tea as much as me and my boyfriend. The staff is really friendly and accommodating, we ended up buying a lot more than expected. Since its the tax free weekend in Boston, we didn’t mind and there were a lot of discounts around the store. We ended up getting the ice tea infuser set with agave and fruit teas for $ 21 along with the coffee pu-reh, skinny tea, tea tin($ 3), and a berry white ice tea togo. If I lived here this would be my favorite tea spot but since I’m in the west coast, I guess I gotta stick with teavanna for now.

I tried my first tea here, I’m totally in love with this place. They have a huge variety of tea flavors. And the staff are welcoming and friendly. I’m not a huge fan of tea but whenever I feel like having a cup of tea I know that is my go to

I was really impressed with the friendly and knowledgeable staff at this location. I was just expecting to try some interesting flavors of matcha, but I got a whole education in tea. Maybe because it was not really that crowded, but the ladies working the counter allowed my friend and I to sample a variety of different teas and did a really great job explaining the different varieties and the best way to prepare each variety(iced, hot, with alcohol, etc.). I am not a huge tea drinker, but I will definitely be back.

This place is awesome. Even if you don’t like tea, it’s an interesting experience, and the staff is so friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgeable. I spent some time smelling many different types of teas and picked out a few to take home. The big wall o’ tea is a little overwhelming, but the staff members are more than willing to take the time to find you what you want. There is a little sitting area in the back too. You can get your loose leaf tea supply to take home and brew, or you can grab just a cup of tea there too. I’m looking forward to visiting again and learning more from the staff and trying different things. They have a rewards program, always a plus.

Nice location. Very similar to the Downtown Crossing store. Great free samples. Staff are not as friendly or outgoing as the DTX location though. Still, a very nice and welcome addition to Assembly Row.

What to say about DavidsTea Assembly Row… how about Amazing, for a first time visitor and a tea lover like myself, I was a little apprehensive on how everything worked. But Have no fear the girls who work there are super friendly and go above and beyond, most definitely the best customer service I’ve ever experienced! I’m hooked for life, I can’t say it enough how much I love this place!
