I’m particular about thin-​crust NYC-​style pizza. I love the NE Regina’s, and this isn’t quite as great, but I’d put it on par with Armando’s on Huron Ave., which is my second favorite in the Boston area. Excellent pizza. Excellent service, too – friendly, helpful and prompt.

Great pizza and super friendly staff. I’ve been eating at Beacon St Pizza for the last year and a half and now that I’m a permanent resident, I go here more than I’d like to admit. Cheese and vegan sausage are my favorite slices but they haven’t made anything I dislike.

I have never met a bunch of guys who love making pizza as much as these guys.
It’s a take out pizza place. They have a table or two inside, and they recently build an outdoor patio (summer of 2015). But it’s basically take out pizza.
Even though it’s take out, it’s really really good. They use all fresh ingredients, which you can see them cutting up.
In addition to really good pizza, they also have really good burritos. I don’t understand it either, but they somehow make great pizza and burritos!
Go to Beacon Street Pizza for a great pizza and smile.

This place is literally right behind our apartment and at first, I really didn’t think much of it. The exterior and really the interior too, leave much to be desired. But the pizza, New York style, is legit and hits the spot. You can tell they use good cheese and the caeser salad is quite good! Not sure if they own the place, but the father and son are always warm and friendly.

My wife and I live just around the corner from this place and finally decided to give it a try (the outside has been a bit under construction – they just took down the old sign and constructed an outdoor area for eating). I have to say, we were pleasantly surprised. We got mushrooms, pepperoni and homemade sausage, and it was really good. It’s thin crust, which had just the right level of chewiness, and the sausage may really have actually been homemade. The toppings were generous and the staff was extremely polite. What more can you ask for from your local pizza place?

Love this place. Great pizza and meatball subs, and they make so much of their food homemade – like their sausage and chorizo.
The owners are also really nice. Once when I went in, they were making cannolis, and gave me one to try for free. Highly recommended if you’re in the area and in the mood for pizza!

Just went in for the first time. Really small place, and not much space to sit down outside, but the owner seems nice, and accepts credit cards even for a $ 2 slice! The outdoor seating is good (weather permitting), but of course the real reason to go (or order out) is the Pizza – which turns out is actually really good!

This was Fantastic.
Lived in the neighborhood for a while but I never checked this place out because of the looks. They recently added the patio and looked welcoming, so I tried.
Turns out they have great hospitality and great pizza. Looking forward to try other list on the menu.
On the side note, owner makes the wood furniture. I like that he invests his own time in the establishment.

Went in and ordered an extra large pizza and watched it being made. Everything – tomatoes, sausage and basil – were fresh and freshly cut. Eating it was a delight, simply delicious. Very glad to have tried this newer place in the old Dial-​a location. Worlds apart.

The BLT at this place is my go to almost 3 times a week. Super friendly family run business. The fries are also a must with my BLT. The food is made from scratch with fresh ingredients. Dude puts love into his food.

I love this place. It’s my go-​to spot for a slice of regular pizza. Tastes pretty close to NY pizza so that makes me happy. The staff is super friendly. Cesar is the best! I only gave four stars because I’ve never had anything but a plain slice.

Finally, good quality pizza in the Porter and Inman Square area!
I dropped in yesterday after the SuperBowl. They were closing but happily invited me in anyway.
Turns out there are new owners, and the pizza is excellent. César, the owner, worked across the street at Dalí for 26 years. Super friendly and knows good food!
I got a small mushroom pizza. Simple pizzas are usually the best way to judge quality.
It was nice; fresh, good quality ingredients, and well made. A good size for a «small» pizza too.
I don’t eat a lot of pizza anymore, but I do love a good pizza.
Beacon Street pizza is doing qood quality, tasty pizzas. Nothing gourment, but with the right crust, sauce and toppings, it beats the alternativesflat out, and the prices are great.
I wish them a lot of success! Try them out.

Nothing particularly remarkable about this place, other than the fact that they have halal chicken, which is super cool (though confusingly paired with bacon on many of their dishes). They seem to be bringing a little bit of a latin american flair to their pizzas, which is respectably creative: the Brazilian pizza comes with corn, chicken, green olives and bacon (which they can hold). Good in theory, just not very tasty; crust is not as crispy as I like; corn is dried out and soggy.
Buffalo wings (also halal) are sadly lacking in sauce, and the sauce isn’t very spicy. The fried dough dessert is also just confusing… like how is this even on a menu: it’s just balls of pizza crust (many of which are stale) with a very very light dusting of cinnamon sugar. And they insist on sending you like 5 pounds of this stuff for $ 6 (no smaller size available). At least send it with some sugar glaze dipping sauce!
