Hair comes out looking great and both of them are super sweet. Sometimes there can be a bit of a line though.

Efficient but not hurried, friendly but not overly chatty, my hair turned out exactly how I wanted.
I have shoulder length thin hair and I wanted a trim plus a couple of layers. I walked in a few days before Christmas and there was no line. Couldn’t have had a better experience.

Both Ann-​Marie and Natalie are great! They do a great job, are super-​friendly, and are reasonably priced. Sometimes it gets busy there, but I feel like the wait is no more than at any other barber shop. Definitely my go-​to place!

This place may be alright if you are taking your kid there or getting a VERY simple men’s buzz cut, but I seriously recommend reconsidering if you are a girl. They just don’t know how to handle anything more complicated, unfortunately, which is a shame because the price is right!

So the chair is a little worn but the haircut is great and the price can’t be beat. The location in the heart of Davis square is a big plus for me too. Recommended.

Great place! Very straightforward, no frills haircuts. One of the cheapest places to get your hair cut in the Davis Square/​Somerville area if not the cheapest. Make sure to bring cash with you though ($ 10 for men, $ 12 for women); they don’t take cards.

Very good place to get a quick haircut that looks great in an easily accessible location. The lady who cut my hair understood very well what I wanted and was able to get my hair cut very quickly. Even though there were two people ahead of me and there was only one person cutting hair, the wait was very short. Just remember to bring cash to pay ($ 10 for haircut).

Hands down, one of the best places to get your hair cut. Right near the heart of Davis, past Johnny D’s, across the street from the Davis T stop and Au Bön Pain, this little place offers a quick and easy experience with your hair-​cutting needs.
As there can be a wait during the evening hours, I can promise you it is worth it. They get everyone in and out. Their steady hands always do a great job.
I have been getting my hair cut here for years and I am always satisfied by their work. I used to live in Somerville but since have moved away to Woburn, but I still make the effort to get my hair cut here.
For guys, 10 bucks and women 14 bucks, it’s definitely a great price. If you are looking for a good place to get your hair cut with a friendly and laid-​back atmosphere, Ann Marie’s is the place to go.

Just needed a quick bang trim. Had never been before, walked in, she took care of me and charged me TWO DOLLARS!!! Gave her a five and still felt like I was robbing her. Go! Support!

$ 10 for the haircut, maybe $ 2 for tip.
The quality of the haircut is also decent.
There are several drawbacks, however. There are only two chairs in which you can get a haircut, the wait can tend to get a little bit long, depending on the day.
Be sure to get there on a day with low traffic, or in the morning.
Also, the people who work here don’t have very good work ethic, in that they sometimes just don’t show up to work, leaving a lot of people waiting outside of the shop expecting them to show up.
Furthermore, while this place is advertised to open at 11 and close at 5, the reality is that the people here usually don’t show up to work until 11:30 earliest (in my experience), and usually close up shop before 5.
When coming here, timing is very important. Consider calling ahead

Gentlemen (and Ladies too !) — I won’t write a story here. I found reviews of this place on Unilocal earlier today, $ 10 price tag was enough to grab my attention. I went — I got a haircut-​I came out happier than the last 5 times my hair had been worked on by a barber. Total cost $ 15 with the tip.
If you are after a simple, clean, quick and perfect cut –Walk right in. This is a barber shop run by 2 sisters and they make you feel very welcome. Ann is fabulous as she keeps you entertained with her chatter while she gives you a cleanup.
This is not a salon so probably not for those needing to dress up for a wedding or a special occasion. Men who need «regular» cuts –don’t pay more elsewhere. This is worth your every penny.

This is a great place for a haircut! Definitely feels like an old-​fashioned, friendly barber shop. The women who work there are friendly and welcoming, they’ve been there forever, and they do a great job too — I got some nice haircuts there. For $ 10, they’re probably some of the best value haircuts you’ll ever find. They definitely feel like a community fixture.

I made an account just to rate this place. Ann and Natalie run the best local barbershop in the city. 10 $ for a men’s cut, with free touch-​ups if you don’t like it after a few days. They’re keystones of the Davis Square community, and have surprisingly accurate memories, even if you only get a cut every few months. I’m not much of a talker when I get my hair cut, and even though Ann can probably talk for a week straight, she made me feel comfortable and didn’t try and make me talk if I didn’t want to. I can’t recommend this place enough.

The Best! Plain and simple… Ann and Natalie have been running their barber shop since I was in High School. They are legends in Davis Square. Nobody charges $ 10 for a men’s haircut. NOBODY! Always fun going in and shooting the breeze with them and any of their random customers.
Go and check them out. You won’t regret it!

This is a little neighborhood shop with a friendly vibe where regulars pop in to say hello, and the stylists gab about the latest gossip, the usual barber shop experience.
The lady I dealt with was great. The other one didn’t want to do my hair because I’m a female, even though I was getting a shave. The woman who did do my hair was very professional and friendly, even though she was not used to doing my kind of hair. She checked in with me to make sure that I wanted to go lower with the shave and was very cautious. I appreciated her effort, and the cut came out cute.
Get there around fifteen minutes to half hour before closing or they won’t be able to help you.

Got tired of the sub-​par haircut at Salon Femia for $ 30, so decided to branch out and see what else was around. I had my hair cut by Natalie today. I walked in and only waited for 2 minutes. I can imagine it being a much longer wait if there are a few people in line.
I was a little nervous that Natalie approximated a size 2 guard with her razor and a comb, but somehow she did an incredible job! She was fast, efficient, and most importantly I loved the cut.
Conversation, which I typically dread while getting my hair cut, was refreshingly natural. Natalie is a sweetheart.
I was almost afraid to leave a review, thinking that the longer this place stays unnoticed, the less I’ll have to wait to get my haircut. But, it was too good to keep secret. I can’t believe they only charge $ 10! Go here, you’ll love it.
