I came in on a cold evening for a cocoa and cookie. The server was friendly, but instead of getting my cocoa in a crockery cup or even being asked whether I wanted it to go, it was put in a paper cup of poor quality. Not only was the hot chocolate not in the least bit hot, but I could taste the paper. I think she made the cocoa using the cappuccino machine which may be why it wasn’t that hot or chocolatey. The cookie was stale and not that toothsome, to boot. I will return to this bakery again to try their signature cheese cake.

Walked in, then walked right back out. Prices are outrageous! $ 3.50 a bite. Literally. On our way to b.j.s instead. That’s why the lady has no business.

I’m obsessed with 7ate9’s coffee! I go here almost every morning, and the taste of the beans they use is excellent. I’m also a big fan of their mini cheesecakes, which are great for parties. This isn’t a place you go to sit down(there are no chairs), but that doesn’t bother me since I’m a grab-and-go coffee buyer. I love that they leave out a puzzle for customers to help out with while they’re waiting, and that they have a little area set up to take selfies with their cute logo. Very fun little place. I wish they did more breakfast /lunch items(I’ve only seen mini quiches and a few sandwich wraps), but their main thing is cheesecake, which is excellent.

Sometimes my husband and I play a game, daydreaming about what kind of restaurant or food truck we would open. I think this place may have been born from a similar conversation. Cheesecake is the staple here, and they do it right. I tried a pumpkin Cheesecake and a traditional Cheesecake with chocolate(Taza) ganache. They seem expensive($ 3.50 for a cake the size of a lime), but are so rich that’s probably all you need to eat anyway. I also had a great cold brew, clean with hints of chocolate. Everything seems to be locally sourced. Minus one star for the minimal, somewhat uninviting seating.

It was simple. I googled bakeries, found the one with the best Unilocal review, called and drove over. I got a few small things for Thanksgiving, but I had to try something that night, so I got the pumpkin mini(its a few bites)…but WOW!!! This place is legit. The true test comes tomorrow but my gf and I split the mini and we each had a cookie. Cookie was a solid 4+, the pumkin mini cheesecake was 5+. This place is by no means cheap, but good stuff costs $…it’s an indulgence for us but one I would like to schedule into my life. I also hope to one day pick up a growler of ice coffee but I have been trying to lay off the caffeine so that will have to wait. Do yourself a favor and embrace what must be one of the best cheesecake bakeries in New England… trust me, I have put in the research. :D

I walked into the store and was greeted with lovely cheesecakes in their display. Everything from mini cheesecakes, to half sized, to full sized cakes. I bought a few minis to try at home and I fell in love. I shipped a dozen to my friends in Texas and brought some to New York. Everyone loves the cheesecakes. I need to go by at least once a week for a recharge. They have lots of flavors and I dream about them in my sleep. They are that good! They do sell other things, like chocolates and coffees and teas. I am in love with cheesecake now, just don’t tell my doctor.

7ate9 opened up its doors right around the corner from my home, so grabbing a dessert on-the-go for a social gathering has become so convenient. And the minis are perfect, delicious samplers to take home. The best part isn’t the convenience though-it’s that I would now go out of the way if I had to for these cheesecakes! They are delicious, made from high quality ingredients, and the staff has always been helpful and friendly. You won’t be disappointed with their coffee either.

The cheesecakes are to die for! I just love the mini cheesecakes for a perfect little dessert that makes me feel guilt free. Cute little bakery! The coffee is good though it luke warm the moment you leave the shop. I’ve recently tried their veggies wraps. Good but not my favorite. Don’t let this get you down though, this shop has a lot of deliciousness to offer.

Excellent pastries and sandwiches – and the best full sized and mini cheesecakes around! Sarah the owner is really cool. Really great members of the Somerville community.

I was that guy today. After finishing the last bite of my mini chocolate cheesecake(made with local homeboys Taza, mind you) from 7ate9, I did the thing that instantaneously morphed me in to… that guy. I licked the bottom of the box. It’s not my fault. They made the petite carrier collapsible to serve as a plate. They tempted me with a flat surface… how could my sweet tooth’s lap dog resist? Thanks a lot, 7ate9. You and your jerky peach iced tea, and your caked-with-crystalline-sugar chocolate chip cookies, and your Dean’s Beans cold brew on tap(fill a growler for $ 15!), and your savory quiches stuffed with MF Dulock’s house-made sausages… How could you do this to me? I’ll never be to show my face in public again. … See you tomorrow?

I’ve only had the original cheesecake but it was one of the best I’ve ever had! Not too rich and wonderful texture. Love the mini options. Great addition to the neighborhood!

7 Ate 9… you’re a dream come true and we welcome you with open arms. After hearing that the people who make the best cheesecake in MA were opening up a shop in Somerville of course I knew that was the next place I’d be visiting. This place has got it all ranging from various flavors and large pies to cute individual miniature ones that will fill you up and satisfy that sweet tooth. Some of the flavors we saw were chocolate cheesecake, strawberry, oreo, original, peanut butter, peppermint, and original drizzled with chocolate raspberry from Taza Chocolate(also from Somerville). I gotta say… they all looked pretty good. I ended up trying a miniature original with strawberry and it was perfect. It was the pefect size, perfect consistency, perfect sweetness and perfect treat. Seriously go and try one. We’re huge fans and supporters of independent shops and loved reading about Sarah Chester’s(owner) journey. Here’s an article that will explain more. The mini’s are perfect for any BBQ this summer or get together. Trust me, you won’t regret it.

There’s a time in a person’s life where they find something absolutely perfect. Maybe it’s a work of art, or a soul mate, or you go undefeated in Big Ten conference play and win the national championship. Things that you remember and think of wherever you go. The cheesecake at 7ate9 is like that. Except unlike a work of art, you can eat it. The cheesecake here is so good it’ll knock your socks off, launch you off your seat and make you forget what you were doing in the first place. Don’t believe me? Well then you haven’t been here yet. I got a 4inch classic cheesecake, and, well, it hasn’t been seen since. They also have a bunch of mini cheesecakes that you can eat in a bite or two. But really, who only wants one bite of cheesecake? So do yourself a favor and go here and get some cheesecake. You’ve earned it. But leave some for me, cuz I’ll be back soon.

Probably the best coffee shop and bakery in Somerville! The cold brewed coffee is prepared for 24 hours and made with some of the finest beans you can get. The drinks are only a tiny part of this bakery. The pastries and cheesecake creations are simply amazing, you can take an original or order a custom one to order. Either way these little treats are filling and delightful and I have three words for you: «Frozen cheesecake ice-pops»

Honestly, this is the best cold brew coffee in Somerville! I was a barista in college and made toddy brewed coffee everyday at a Viennese café. I haven’t found anything that compared to what I used to make and love until now!

Staff is super friendly and the cheesecake is the best I had in Boston for sure. Their coffee is really good too(I ordered an iced mocha and it was amazing) and the cheesecake ice pops are interesting. Chocolate cookie was disappointing though — it was really dry and flavorless.

I wish they didn’t label themselves as just a bakery because we need to talk about the amazing coffee! The cold brew here is soooo good! And their selection of tea is great and delicious! The cheesecake pops are delicious too. The staff is friendly and the vibe is awesome. My new favorite coffee spot in Davis!

I haven’t had more than a tiny taste of their cheesecakes yet, but I can say that their iced coffee is great! It’s a nice spot for a coffee, too, since it’s a little removed from Davis Sq and the nearby Dunks. It’s small and there’s not much in the way of seating, so it’s better to grab and go, but the staff is very nice! They also are testing out different iced teas and lemonades in funky flavors. Totally recommend those as well.
