By the time I was eight, I had already considered being a cowboy, an astronaut and the President.

Becoming a dentist was the final plan and perfect fit. Early on, I was a creative kid with an

inquiring mind and a big sense of humor. I was already a perfectionist and easly building relationships based

upon caring and listening ear. That’s a great description of me, as youngster and how I still am today.

Since receiving my doctorate degree from Rutgers University/​University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey,

I have continued studying to broaden my expertise far beyond the foundation of general/​wellness dentistry and into cosmetic restoration, prosthodontics, endodontics, periodontics and orthodontics.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, riding my motorcycle, playing piano, golfing and collecting fine wines.

I came here about a year and a half ago to get my teeth cleaned and get X-​rays. I was seen Dr Dean, he was personable and nice, but very rough on me and my teeth. My gums were damaged and hurt for a solid year! He kept selling me different thing that I «needed» to have to my teeth, I ended up being charged a ton! They are very expensive! I hate going to the dentist and coming here only made fear of dentists worse.
Don’t come here if you fears of going to the dentist or don’t want to sold needed services.

It breaks my heart to write this review since there are so many things I love about this place. I’ve lived all over the country and can truly say few dental practices can measure up to what you’ll find here in terms of ambiance, staff, etc. However, I have an issue when healthcare professionals don’t hold themselves accountable for their own work. As a future healthcare professional myself, I believe it is ethical and good business practice to be honest with your patients.
When I had my old mercury filling taken out and replaced with a ceramic one, I started to develop sensitivity in the same tooth 6 months later. I’ve had one too many fillings to count and this was never an issue before. Because my sensitivity arose only when I chewed, I had a feeling it wasn’t a cavity. After doing some research, I realized that this can happen when a filling is done incorrectly and the tooth is elevated more than usual (causing it to compress the ligament below with chewing and become sensitive over time). When I came in to see Dr. Dean again, I was told that my sensitivity was indeed caused by an uneven bite. I was also told that this could’ve been caused by anything, from changes in my bite after the new filling was placed, me grinding my teeth more than usual, etc, and that it could have also occurred in any tooth. I don’t claim to be an expert on teeth, but I have a hard time believing my issue was not directly related to the new filling since this is the first time I’m experiencing any sensitivity/​pain after a filling and none of my previous dentists mentioned I had an issue with biting/​grinding. At the end of the day, what I’m most disappointed about is both the dishonesty and the fact that I was charged nearly $ 150 for minor drilling on one tooth (no prep or anesthetics) which I shouldn’t have needed.
This is a very high end dental practice. Expect to get charged high prices for minor procedures. I know certain people are okay with this, but I’m not one of them. Again this review is not to discredit all of the previous wonderful experiences I have had with the staff as I’ve had very good cleanings done here.

In a league of their own. This is clearly a different kind of business and that anyone should emulate. I’ve had a consultation and X-​rays, bonding and contouring, and 2 Swedish massages in 4 visits in my first month as a customer. I think I’m just looking for excuses to go back! It’s a pleasure being there. Fortunately, they offer a ton of services, so that shouldn’t be a problem. I’m a very satisfied (and inspired?!) customer.

I am one of those people who suffer from ‘dentist anxiety’. I worry about the appointment starting about a week out and it escalates right up until the day of. Yesterday’s anticipation was no different than my usual. I arrived at their office, was called in, sat in the chair and took a deep breath. I saw Dorothy first for an evaluation of all the work she had done a few months ago on my gums. She was kind and gentle and whizzed through the exam politely and professionally. You can tell she loves what she’s doing and wants only to help. But I wasn’t done yet — on to Dr. Roland and Jenna for some drilling and filling. Just at the point where my anxiety could have peaked, I was in the chair laughing and joking with them, getting parrafin mittens for my hands and not feeling all that anxious at all. The procedure was painless, efficient and I have to say almost pleasant!!! I left there a little bewildered by my feelings. And realized that I don’t have to associate my dentist visits with anxiety any more! Thanks to all the staff at the Art of Dentistry — I love it there and look forward to working with you to make my smile straighter and brighter

This place is outstanding. The staff was overly nice and very honest. The facility is beautiful and the people are great. They followed up the next day after I had a procedure to see how I was feeling. I recommend anyone who needs a good dentist to go here!

I LOVE THIS PLACE. My coworker recommended this to me and I’m so happy! Dr. Dean did my Invisalign and two tooth bondings and I haven’t had any problems whatsoever. Everyone is super nice and accommodating plus who doesn’t love going to a dental SPA?!

Dr. Devon Berry is a DENTAL GOD! I was treated by Dr. Berry today for a severely infected tooth that required an immediate root canal so as to save the tooth. Dr. Berry’s skill set and care were absolutely stellar. He is knowledgable, highly effective and incredibly gentile. The staff at this office is genuinely caring and receptive to patient needs. The office is modern and exceptionally clean. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Berry.

You have been doing yourself a disservice if you have yet to experience The Art of Dentistry (and I’m not just saying that because I work there).
The team here works hard to make sure that your entire experience is flawless from the time you make an appointment (either by phone or website) to the time you leave — and all of the in between.
Whether you’re coming in for a cleaning or a filling, the staff will offer you a complimentary paraffin hand treatment to ease the tension and anxiety associated with a trip to the dentist. Better yet, you could opt for a spa treatment before or after your appointment as this office is also a full-​service spa.
The doctors are conservative yet thorough and treat you as if you’re a member of their family when they recommend treatment for you. All of the treatment is done with the most advanced materials and equipment and delivered in such a way that you feel truly taken care of when you are finished.
With this place, you need to see it to believe it. It’s an extraordinary concept for a dental (or really any medical) office. You won’t be disappointed with an experience here.

Great office. The cap Dr Berry installed on my tooth back in 2009 is still in there with no problems. To be honest, Ive forgotten which tooth it was. It was a little sensitive for the first few weeks (he told me it would be because the cavity was deep) — but perfect since then. Michelle is the dental Hygienist that cleaned my teeth. She is very nice.
The young lady that took my xrays was great because she didn’t jam them into my mouth and scrape my gums off they way some other offices do. No one really loves x-​rays and she was very gentle.
Im happy that I Have not had any problems since this tooth was fixed. I need to get back there to get a cleaning. Note– great refreshments (coffee) in the waiting area.

Dr Roland and Dr Berry are great! I’ve been a regular here since I was a kid. Those that work here, and especially Dr Roland and Dr Berry, are passionate about their profession and truly love what they do. Their new office makes your dental visit an experience and not just an appointment. Highly recommended!
