Solar Swim installed a 500 square foot Heliocol system on my roof in spring 2015. So far, the system works perfectly — no leaks from the panels or piping; no roof leaks; and the Hayward electronic controls make operation totally automatic. Our yard is heavily wooded, so the pool only gets about 2 hours of direct sun. We decided to install a fairly large system, to ensure it was effective — and it certainly is! In the past 3 summers, our concrete pool was typically in the low 70’s most of the summer, perhaps peaking at 80 degrees if we had a particularly hot spell. With the Heliocol system, the pool hit 87 degrees in mid-June, and the kids spend a lot more time in the water. BTW, I’ve read a few negative reviews about Solar Swim on this site. My experience has been very positive, and I was referred by a neighbor who had them install a similar rooftop system on his house about 10 years ago. He is also very satisfied and has had no leaks or problems.

Stay away … stay far away. I am a customer of approximately five years. I would agree with the other reviewer, Patricia. You get a real hard sell. But I can also provide a longer term perspective, and not a good one. The supports for my solar system /panels are now collapsing. I’ve made multiple phone calls over several months to no reply(this support’s Patricia’s assessment that once they have sold you, you are on your own). My handyman is now rebuilding the entire platform. He found that they used untreated wood and weak non-galvanized nails. To add insult to injury, they used 1×6’s instead of 2×6’s or, better yet, PVC. He commented«no wonder this thing is falling apart, these guys didn’t even use the basics for outdoor construction. In any case, I am enduring some costly repairs now. Guess I should have paid a little more attention at the time, or better yet sent my business elsewhere.
