Miklos Tree Service

Miklos tree service was called yesterday after my neighbors tree fell on our fence and pretty much wrecked our deck during the high winds. The neighbors used them before. They came in a reasonable time, and as others put it, didn’t fool around. They brought a crane, a large chipper and bobcat on a flatbed with a claw arm. The very efficiently used the crane to top and remove the rest of the tree that was in danger of falling. They removed everything efficiently and much quicker than we could have. Very polite. Very patient in explaining how the insurance may work.
I would use them again in a heart beat. Pricing, for heavy and emergency work, I thought reasonable. I didn’t feel taking advantage of. Always important.

Our new place came with a bunch of problem trees, which for a reasonable price Miklos turned into firewood and mulch for us! Amazing job — neatly done and very thorough. Would use their services again, no question. Very pleased :)

Miklos is terrific! Called them about removing a huge pile of yard debris (40’x20’x6 feet high) and 2 smaller piles. They came out, surveyed the job, and gave me the best quote of the 3 I received. Access to my yard for trucks and equipment is through my neighbor’s yard. I went to talk to him about it, they had already spoken to him, checked the firmness of his lawn, and measured to make sure they could get everything in without any damage!
On the day they came, they called me to notify me they were coming, AND called my neighbor to ask permission once again. Brought a truck, the biggest chipper I’ve ever seen, and a small excavator with a levelling blade on the front. 2 and ½ hrs. later, everything is gone, raked clean, and asked if I’d like them to level the big area. Would I? Gee, sure mister!
Great job, treated my yard as if it were their own, went above and beyond to make me happy. I thoroughly recommend them, wish every contractor had their attitude and attention to detail!

We were 200% satisfied with Miklos’ service. We’ve even recommended them to friends who have also used their services and been super satisfied. We had two enormous pine trees to remove from our new home, one on each corner of our house, about 1 – 2 feet away from our siding. It was a huge job, and with a lot of liability, since they could easily fall on top of my home. Miklos showed up with a crew of workers and a huge crane. In two days, they cut the trees into sections and put them in a chipper. Then he used a remote control device to grind down the stumps and roots until there was nothing left and we were able to seed grass over it. They also ground down another leftover stump from before and removed some 3 – 4 other trees from our yard. They did this all in a matter of 2 days and left nothing behind. They weren’t our cheapest quote, but we found them to be incredibly reasonable, as well as thorough. He can be tough to get a hold of initially (this can be a good sign; means he’s busy!), but he’s responsive and the work does get done and done well. We will definitely be calling them again next time we need to have any other trees removed. Thank you!

Was so very pleased with the work that Miklos did. I had 4 cedar stumps, a poplar stump and an oak stump. There was about 4 ft left on what was the oak and we figured it was about 50−60years old. All the stumps were ground down to nothing and the ground was left clean and flat, ready to plant grass. He had every piece of equipment necessary to do the job in just a couple of hours. I couldn’t be more pleased and would give him 6 stars if I could

Miklos does not fool around! He showed up with no less than 4 trucks — a crane, a bucket truck, one flatbed with a monster stump grinder, another truck to haul logs away, plus random smaller power equipment, grabber, chipper, etc — and with a team of five, in eleven hours, they cleared a small forest — over 10 trees, including a 80 foot oak with a rotten core, a thicket of bamboo (btw Miklos hates bamboo!), removed a bunch of high overhanging oak and hickory branches, removed blowdowns from Irene last year, trimmed a line of bradford pears along our driveway, and chipped and hauled everything away — all at a very good price. Very efficient crew, and good quality work.

These guys are really good. They cleared out my overgrown bamboo, knocked down a decrepit outhouse, cut down six dead trees, and cleared my side yard. I was so sad to see my ancient pines go down but they all died over the winter, so there was no other choice. They worked efficiently and very hard and the price was right.
