This was a traditional pizzeria and restaurant. The pizzeria was in the front and the restaurant was in the back. It was a very small establishment. The service was very good. There was one waitress and I thought she did a very good job balancing her responsibilities. The food also came out in a timely matter. The bread was tasty. It came straight out of the oven. The crust was not too hard and the inside was fluffy. I ordered the Veal Sorrentino($ 17). This also came with a salad and side dish of pasta. The salad was a nice size. It had lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, and black olives. Everything was fresh. It was a nice start along with the bread. The veal was alright. It came with eggplant, mozzarella and was in vodka sauce. The veal and eggplant were very good. The veal was tender and the eggplant was cooked to perfection. It was not too hard or soft. The sauce was not bad, but it did not resemble vodka sauce to me at all. I did not taste anything at all that made me think it was vodka sauce. The side pasta was just bad. The pasta was cooked well, but the sauce was very plain and tasteless. It was very disappointing. For dessert, tartufo($ 4.95) was ordered. It was served in a small bowl and it was hard to get the ice cream out when sharing the dish. Other than that, it was alright, nothing spectacular. Will I go back? Most likely, very good prices.

This is a good place that has a chance to be great. The owner is working hard to make improvements to the place, welcomes your comments and criticisms, and is dedicated to providing great food at a reasonable price. If there’s a problem with a dish, they are always ready to fix it. The owner even told me once, «Give me another chance to not just meet, but exceed your expectations.»

I go to Lorenzos once or twice a month but get deliveries all the time. They have the best food my wife and I have ever tasted. The dining area is a little dark, but overall the place has a nice family feel to it. The two owners are always there either taking orders, delivering, or cooking which is nice to see. It shows they take pride in their small business. Delivery driver is pretty cool. He has never forgotten anything and is always quick to deliver our food. Waitress during the week is so so. Friendly, but dull. The weekend waitress is a breath of fresh air if you ask me. We love to get the scallops and crab meat. Calms casino is on point as well. We try to get something different every time we go. No matter what we order it never disappoints. Pizza is delicious! Pizza guy seems nice enough. Pizza is always on point and there is just the right amount of sauce and cheese. Overall place is great. Thanks for being the towns best pizza joint. If you haven’t tried this place. You’re missing out!

Did you know that the prices on the menu are inaccurate? They tax every single item instead of the whole bill, which i never heard of… Or maybe the online menu is just not accurate. I received a hard copy with delivery so will just refer to that… personal pizza was delicious, husband enjoyed the chicken cheese steak and we are saving the shrimp scampi for tomorrow, but smells delicioso!

1. Hey gave extremely whimpy servings of the lasagna, about half the size they normally do. 2. I ordered sautéed broccoli and was given broccoli rabe, which I really don’t like. I’m gluten free, and when I called and asked about the menu and explained that I cannot eat anything with flour I would expect them to know what is on their menu. They didn’t. I’m extremely disappointed with the service and the food.

I got a pie with 5 toppings. They didn’t give me my extra cheese and I asked for it to be a little under done. The crust was almost burned. The overcharged me a lot.

Our delicious dinner at Lorenzo’s was a pleasant surprise. The place is nothing fancy and rather run down, but the food was FABULOUS! Salad was romaine lettuce instead of the typical tasteless iceberg and served with cucumbers, tomato, green pepper and onion. My shrimp oreganato was prepared just right and I liked my option of whole wheat linguini which was true al dente. Bread was freshly baked and crusty if we lived closer, it would be my go to Italian restaurant on a regular basis. I highy recommend the place for excellent Italian food.

Our company often orders large amounts of pizzas from Lorenzos for lunches ect. The food is always great and I personally think it is the best pizza in NJ. The people match the pizza everyone there is great and very polite. This is one of the best places to go and eat period.

What can you say BYOB and freaking the best Italian old school dishes in North Brunswick! Yes, the place from the outside look dated but that’s the charm… trust me! Hit the dinning room with a family & friends and enjoy yourself!

My wife and I. Just ordered a medium sausage, bacon and ham there. Sorry to say, but the pizza wasn’t veery good. Instead, it was swimming in grease. There was so much grease. that it was essentially inedible. We called about it, but they implied it was our choice of ingredients. Shouldn’t the sausage and bacon been drained? I doubt we will order from there again.

Called to place a delivery order and they refused if we only ordered 1 pizza! They said the order was too small. Poor service.

Came here Friday night with my wife. She picked me up from the train and we headed right over. There were 2 other tables occupied but by the time it hit 6:30−7pm the place was packed. We heard a lot goods things. The service was excellent. Our waitress was very attentive and happy to make suggestions. They ran out of garlic knots so we ended up with mussels in white sauce(it was garlicky and delicious). We could have drank the sauce from the bowl! We also ordered a half plain half sausage pizza. The crust was thin and crispy. Had a nice little flop at the tip. The sausage was a nice size crumble. A lot of the people knew each other. You could tell a lot of regulars came in. My wife even ran into someone she knew. We checked out other peoples dishes and they all looked awesome. This is more of a comfort, home style type of place compared to Lucas, which we really enjoy as well. We loved it and will be back soon!

Family owned place that has been around for a long time for a reason. Great food and good service. I highly recommend.

Probably the better of the classic Napoleon/New York style pizza places in the area, but that’s not entirely saying much I guess. They make the pizzas nice and fresh every time I order. Cheese is a bit runny and slices can be pretty floppy right out of the oven like another reviewer said, but I don’t mind. They are also a bit light on toppings when I order sausage pies. I have tried Fillipos in New Brunswick and the other pizzeria south from Lorenzo’s on route 27 and Lorenzo’s is probably better. Fillipos slices are firmer and have more sausage but can be pretty salty and greasy. Of course can’t compare this type of establishment to brick oven/fancy pizza/Italian places like Luca’s. I would otherwise give Lorenzo’s 3 stars if this was located in say Brooklyn, but given where it is, it really is probably one of the better pies you can get in the area. It’s also nice to see a family run place where the people treat you well. I haven’t had their other dishes to judge them.
