Horrible service. Even if you are a regular they will treat you like shit I don’t know why they’re still in business but a lot of people feel the same locally. If you complain to the manager he sides with the waitresses probably because he’s single and can’t get laid. My friend lives right nearby so we met there often and they don’t even remember who their regulars are. There’s one waitress who looks like the hobbit and she treats her customers like shit. She treated my friend who lives nearby like shit so we complained to the manager a few weeks ago and he could care less then I saw her treat someone else like shit and again and they complained to the manager and the guy could care less. Yesterday she got in my face here’s my fucking review you guys fucking suck. Don’t waste your time they’re pieces of shit. DONOTGIVETHISPIECEOFSHITBARYOURBUSINESS. THEYDONTDESERVEIT.

Great find on Unilocal.Food was really good and hit the spot. Place was clean and staff was friendly. Prices were extremely fair. If in the area, we’d go back. Calamari was a bit over done.

Mediocre sports pub. Doesn’t even have all the expected bar food options(no buffalo chicken sandwich?!). Service friendly but not particularly attentive.

Worst service, worst food! The philly burger was dry and all bread! Took at least 10 minutes to be served while the two bimbo’s 10 feet away were laughing and giggling at the hostess desk. I had to walk up to them and ask them for a menu. The bartender seems like a nice guy but definitely does not know how to run a bar! Won’t be back!

Let me preface this review by saying I downloaded Unilocal and made an account at my table specifically to share my experience here with you. I’ve worked in multiple restaurants for nearly 10 years, and even managed the restaurant down the street, The Stage House Tavern(if you haven’t been, I highly recommend). Having worked at the only prominent bar and restaurant within 10 minutes of Freddy’s, its painfully obvious why Stage House does business this place could only dream of. First, the bartenders are very social. This sounds great, but by social I mean they stand in a circle and talk to each other, their backs turned to the bar surrounding them. They constantly are on their phones, joking with the servers, or generally not where they need to be. One bartender even left the POS drawer open and walked away, money out in the open unattended. He would have been fired on the spot in any other business. Second, as I write I currently am waiting for the waitress to bring over my beer. I can see the beer waiting for me at service bar, along with several others longing for their respective patrons, yet it’s been over 10 minutes. As I continue to wait, I see our server, Maryann, walk over to the ever warming draft beers and proceed to take selfies. She then asked the bartender which beers were which, since she wasn’t anywhere near him when he poured them; it was so long ago that even he forgot. I watches her carry both to another server to garner her opinion. She couldn’t figure it out, so I watched her then bring both beers into the kitchen to ask the ale experts behind the stoves to do her job for her. I’ve been to Freddies several times since its the closest place to me that’s not Stage House(gotta get away from the work friends sometimes), and every time I’ve been flabbergasted at how poor the service is. Its the reason why if you ever come on a weekend night, you’ll be greeted by a nearly empty restaurant. The only redeeming quality of this place is they have Goose Island on tap, one of the few places nearby that does. If Goose Island isn’t your thing, then stay away from this training video example of how not to act when you work at a restaurant.

Good place to watch a game with bad service. Been here several times and regardless of who the bartender is they are horrible. Slow nights are worse, because the bartender will sit on a stool at the end of the bar on the phone. Review ratings Décor, cleanliness, ambiance = 4.5 lots of tvs, big space, pool tables, outside area Food and drinks taste and selection = 4 nice beers on tap, American menu, good tasting food. Service = 1 rude and slow. Based on multiple visits. Overall, management is going to drive this place out of business. Learn from your local competition like stage house. Great staff there.

All good pub food, but a little pricey IMO. No good football specials either, which is a shame because they have so many TVs. A few craft beers on tap, but not much. They do tend to be quality though. They have a small patio, which is mostly for smokers. They also seem to be the place to go if you like the Jets.

Oh Freddy’s! I’m giving you 1 extra star more than you deserve. That 1 extra star is more for the memories I have of coming here for entertainment on the weekends with friends. The problem now? That entertainment is gone. They got rid of the live music. Even the bartenders themselves admitted that it was a horrible idea to get rid of it, but said the owner’s claimed it was losing them money. Also, I don’t believe it’s open until 2am any more. Last time, we were kicked out with last call right before 1am on a Saturday. When you walk in here, don’t expect to be seated. It’s a bar with extra tables. Nothing more. The food is average. They do have some choices that you won’t see elsewhere but it’s just stuff you find in the frozen section of a food store that is heated up. What this place is definitely good for is if you want to drink(lots of choices and bartenders know how to make anything!) and if you want to watch sports. Good amount of TVs, if nothing big is playing, they’ll put on any other sport so there is something.

I’m giving it 2 stars because of the bar. Pretty good place for a couple of brewskis after work, but you may grow old waiting for a beer. I’d imagine the barmaids don’t get to keep the tips because they could make a ton more money if they hustled a bit. They do have a very good selection of craft beers if that is your thing. Their food is subpar at best. I ordered a Panini with grilled chicken, fresh mozzarella, and roasted peppers. I’ve had this sandwich at dozens of places and it is almost impossible to make poorly. 4 tiny strips of roasted peppers on a small sandwich. Quite bland. The fries not only tasted like they were frozen from Shop Rite, but the cheap supermarket frozen fries. If this place wasn’t so convenient to a lot of office buildings it would be out of business.

We come here often for lunch and always have a great experience. The kitchen has their act together. Two, three, four orders all come out at the same time. Today we had sandwiches of brisket, fish and sausage. All were very good. Also recommend the Sante Fe salad and chicken park sandwich. Go with the sweet potato fries which are cut in house. Regular fries are good but star out frozen. Also recommended are the Reuben and any burger.

Knows what it is. The bar and dinner food is good enough and the beer selection is usually good. Some pool tables and tvs break up the typical vibe. The outside seating is good in the summer. The appetizers are also very strong.

Good drinks and lots of craft beers on tap. The bartenders were friendly and quick. Food didn’t look like anything too exciting but nice spot to have some drinks and watch the game.

This is a very solid bar/tavern food place. The food is fresh and very tasty. The cheesesteak was excellent and the bread was super fresh.

Main bartender was more worried about his social life than his customers. I personally watched him take 3 shots while behind the bar on a Sunday evening. Ordered an extra side through the guy and it never came. The other bartender Daphne on the other hand was great. Asked for condiments and we got them nearly instantly. Very fast on getting our drinks and food. To bad they have to split the tips at the bar. The guy defiantly deserves a reprimanding, or at least needs to learn how to treat your customers.

Disappointment Service: it took 35 min for anyone to attend our table(reason confusion-agreed) Beer– took 15 minutes for me to get me a mug of beer Looking at the speed we stick only to fries and sweet potato fries were disappointing which took another 28 min to arrive after beer. I have heard about they serve good burgers but with my first experience I am Not considering for second visit.

I really can’t say too much about this place. Just seem like a regular bar with regular bar food. I ordered a burger medium rare as usual. Yup had to send it back the first time. Because it was well done.(Hey buddy don’t forget my burger on the grill next time and just send it out). Once my burger did come out. It took no time before I made it disappear

Nice sized sports bar tucked away in a shopping center with outdoor seating area and pool tables. Good wings, only one option for stout lovers but they make delicious green tea shots! Not a place that gets overwhelmingly crowded which is nice. Southwest chicken wrap is really good!

I’ve only been to Freddy’s on Sunday’s during football season. Their TV display is top quality. Most bar spots give you a view of almost every game on large screen TVs. The beer specials are great but the food is just average. They do usually pass of complementary pretzel bites with cheese which is a nice bonus if you enjoy such things. Very open and usually not a problem finding a seat.

Just had lunch here. The outside is very pleasant, the inside is a tad dark but I can see why it would be fun later on in the day/night time. Food was good, had a cowboy burger and my friend had a greek salad. Both left with full tummies, feeling satisfied. Service was nice and welcoming, not to mention pretty quick. Would definitely recommend Freddy’s. I plan on returning some other time to try experience their night-time bar life!
