my go-to place for pizza in Somerset. the people here are so efficient and nice, it’s hard not to come back. btw, the pizza is HUGE. the slices and food portions are great, you get a lot of bang for your buck. I’ve been coming here for over 15 years and I’m not looking to stop coming by anytime soon.

Been going there for years. Live a block away. Place has gone downhill. Pizza is rubbery. Ordered hot wings they were so overcooked and hard couldn’t eat them. There are so many pizza places in the area not worth going to amicis

Great family run pizza place with excellent food and fresh ingredients! Slices are HUGE(like you would get at the Jersey Shore) and the pizza is excellent. The party pizza(XXLg) is absolutely HUMONGOUS and only about $ 20.00. Unlike some of the local pizza places, their prices have not gone insane. Everyone has different likes when it comes to pizza, but this is one pizza place definitely worth trying(you most likely will not be disappointed)! Only downside is their limited seating(about 4 — 5 tables).

The other day I was craving chicago deep dish pizza(I know, I live in Jersey where it seems like you only get NY style pizza). I finally found Amici. I ordered the chicago deep dish style pizza. I knew it wouldn’t be authentic, but it’s similar to the chain Uno Chicago Style pizza. Only difference, it tastes fresher and is absolutely delicious. The sauce was tasty and they had the cheese over the sauce like Uno. I’d consider it a cross between chicago style and NY style(as real chicago is very gourmet where you eat it with a knife and fork). What I loved the most was it didn’t taste oily like most deep dish pizzas I have had in NJ which is always a plus for me. Haven’t tried anything else, but I have come back for the chicago deep dish style pizza numerous times which my whole family enjoys now when we want a break from NY style pizza.

I like this place because the people are down to earth. Sure, it’s not spacious inside and slightly cluttered, but their customer service is great. Their signature pizza slices are bigger than your head. Very large menu of cold and hot items.

The food is normally pretty good here. However on Saturday there bread was stale. We ordered a fat cat sandwich and sampler all the fried food was over done and tasted like it was cooked in old oil. The shrimp alfredo was the best dish of the night and the eggplant parm was good. The canolis are out of this world delicious, if nothing else I would definitely order them again.

Great, great pizza. The absolute best pizza in the area. They would get 5 stars, but the food is horrible. Just do pizza!

This is a small little place. Nothing fancy by any means. But the pizza is very good and prices are very fair. 5 buck for a plain slice and a sausage. That’s cheap.

I like this place. Its your normal pizza place. They have great lunch specials. The pizza is huge and very good. I have used them for catering and everytime they did a great job. Its a nice family run place. If i had one complaint it would be it can be hot in there in the summer.

We just moved to the area not to long ago and are trying several different places to find a decent pizza place. We’ve eaten here before and figured this was a safe bet to try again because the first go wasn’t terrible. I call for delivery and the guy who picked up the phone was extremely rude. I immediately told him I’m not interested. We have a number of people over and this was going to be a large order. I didn’t know people could afford to turn down business. I’ll never order from here again just because of the lack of customer service I received. Just an FYI, their«buffalo wings» are the worst I’ve had — their more like medicine wings because it takes like their marinated with a touch of Aspirin.

The food is pretty good. However this place gets 4 stars because their staff are unbelievably nice and do a fantastic job! Its always a pleasure ordering delivery or take-out. The pizza is a plus as well as the chicken parm dinner that can feed 3.

Can’t believe I’ve never reviewed my FAVORITE pizza place! The slices are huge! Their plain slice is top of the line. It’s delicious! I drive from bound brook to somerset just to have a slice from here! Place inside isn’t beautiful at any means but their pizza makes up for it! Friendly guys in there and they know to cut my slice in half since the slice is so large! Best pizza ever!

Excellent pizza! We can’t even drive by without smelling the yummy dough baking. All fresh ingredients, stick to the traditional.

Very rude service. Very dirty also i know that they keep the old pizza from last night and warm it up for lunch. Stay out of that place. So many other good place to eat in Somerset. This place should be close cause inside the kitchen this place is very dirty. One time one of my friend go a cockroach in his Caesar salad. So he called them but they where very nasty with him.

Slices are large, pizza is pretty decent, pricing is very fair for such a huge slice. I haven’t tried any of their other food but some of the people who work there creep me out… my female friend and I felt a bit uncomfortable there. One was blatantly checking out my friend’s behind. I wouldn’t eat inside if I can avoid it, and there are bugs around. This is just a place for me to get some take-out pizza slices to go. The staff are friendly, though… apparently a bit too much. Anyway, there are also lunch specials daily that are also fairly priced.

I can only speak for the pizza — haven’t had the chance to try anything else yet. Food: The pizza is good! The crust is just the right thickness: not too thick that it’s too much bread and not too thin that the cheese flops all over the place. And the size of the slices are huge! They have a good amount of cheese and not too much sauce. The pizza could use a littttle more flavor but it’s still good. Price: Amici’s slices are big so you’d think they’d be more expensive — nope! Really reasonable prices, super affordable. Service: I wouldn’t sit down to eat inside the place — it’s really small and not very well decorated. The first time I stopped by was on a whim; luckily they weren’t busy and it only took them a couple minutes to heat up a couple to-go slices for me. But if you want a pie on a Friday night, make sure you call it in early!

Generous portions for the $. Okay pizza. Meatball sub wasn’t great. Chicken salad was okay. Definitely not very pleasing inside — I would only want take-out. We had it once, and probably won’t get it again considering all the other options out there.

I used to order a lot from this place when I worked close by, it was always a ok place to get pizza and different lunches. From what I remember, their grilled chicken Caesar was generous in size and reasonable in price. Their pasta dishes and pizza is nothing incredible, its average nj Italian food. Its a family run place, give it a try!

Great pizza and great value! Was recommended by a co worker of mine. Biggest slice I have gotten for the money in a long time. Their crust and pizza texture is also the way I like it. Crunchy, structurally intact and able to support the toppings.(well crafted Pizza) and they throw cheese on top like nobodies business!

I’m a big Italian food critic. Especially with pizzas. I’ve been to Patsys, Grimaldis, Krispy pizza in all parts of NY. I say those places are pretty good. This place I’ve tried 3 times, two deliveries and one sit-in. I just never had that«umph». Its an ok pizza place. Its not one of the best ones I’ve tried. But if I’m really hungry and I’m near it, ill probably swing by to eat.
