Western Reserve Wines, an independent, locally owned and operated wine shop, has been dedicated to helping the novice and collector alike discover unique wines of value, for over 25 years. We have an extensive selection of international & domestic wines and a friendly, knowledgable staff to help you choose the perfect bottle of wine for any meal or occasion. Walk-​in wine tastings are scheduled every Saturday afternoon, and educational monthly evening tastings include noted guest speakers.

History

Established in 1990.

Western Reserve Wines was established in 1990 when Mario Vitale purchased the wine shop from Jack Schindler who opened it next to his Au Pere Jacques Restaurant in Moreland Hills in 1960. Kathi Hays, after working with Mario for 6 years, purchased Western Reserve Wines in 2006, and a year later relocated the shop to its current location in North Solon.
