History

Established in 2012.

Deb Rogers began making party cakes when her boys were small in 2000. The dream of launching a cake decorating business grew over the years as her cakes wowed partygoers, hostesses, and guests of honor. Deb finally launched «Sensational Cakes… And More!» in the spring of 2012 and quit her «real» job to pursue her business in October of 2013.

Deb was bitten by the cake decorating bug when her boys were very young. After taking several Wilton decorating classes at a local craft store, Deb continued to build her skills creating masterpieces for friends and family while working full-​time in the pharmaceutical industry. In 2013 Deb reduced the hours of her «real» job and starting putting more energy into her decorating, learning skills and techniques from industry leaders. Toward the end of 2013, Deb took a leap of faith and began designing and decorating cakes full time — and she’s never looked back.
