An independent ballroom dance instructor teaching private ballroom lessons in Solon, OH. Each 55 minute lesson is scheduled based on the student (s)’ and instructor’s availability. Dances taught include: swing, salsa, cha cha, waltz, foxtrot, rumba, and several other partner dances.

Business Owner

Rachel grew up in West Virginia where she studied ballet, tap, and jazz from the age of seven through her high school years. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Akron in 2001 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Musical Theatre Dance. After graduation she had the honor of performing with Dancing Wheels, a modern dance company of Cleveland. Rachel also holds an Associate level teaching certification with High Honors in Amercian Rhythm and Smooth Ballroom through the DVIDA syllabus. Ms. Neilson is the former Dance Department Coordinator of Solon Center for the Arts in Solon, OH and has over ten years experience teaching a variety of dance styles including ballroom, ballet, jazz, and tap.
