My review is in regards to Becky and Doug from the Dempsey Real Estate Team/​Keller Williams CGSE. Early 2014 I was looking to ditch my apartment and buy my first home, unfortunately I had a negative experience with my first realtor. She just did not seem to care or have the time for me. This led me to doing some thorough searching online where I happened to stumble across Becky Dempsey!
Becky was instantly likable with her friendly demeanor and patience with all of my questions (and I had a TON of questions!). She did not make me feel pressured to pick a place, and most importantly she made me feel valued regardless if my budget was $ 50,000 or $ 500,000. As a first time home buyer I did not know much, but Becky and her husband Doug explained everything to me and discussed every concern or possibility I came up with (what if this happens? how much do you think this costs? where would I go for that? do you think this would look nice?) This was very beneficial when I was trying to decide between a house, a duplex, or a condo.
My experience with the Dempsey Team was just so refreshing and their guidance/​support made the home buying process so easy (especially for an anxious over-​thinking person like me). Becky and Doug truly listened to my wants and needs and were very helpful and calming even when we did have a bump in the road with the seller.
I decided a condo was the perfect stepping stone between an apartment and a house for a young single woman who wanted something low maintenance. Becky was able to relate to me by sharing her own story of buying her own condo in her pre-​Doug years. I moved into my place in May of 2014 and have really enjoyed my home and neighborhood ever since. I would definitely recommend Becky and Doug as realtors!
