We would pop in when dining at Samarai restaurant across the parking lot. We had recently moved and needed a new couch. We went in and instantly fell in love with their floor model. After going home and measuring, calling back to ask questions, we were ready to pay an inflated price to get a custom couch. We were told 3 to 4 weeks to receive. After 4 weeks, I called my rep, Jonathon Collopy to ask when my couch was being delivered. He said he told me 4 to 5 weeks. I wrote down everything he told me. I was frustrated that I was told I was wrong, even though I asked specifically. There was no apology, I was just wrong. The delivery company put a little ding in my wall. I didn’t notice since I was directing down the hallway. The partially down couch now pokes you daily with feathers. I guess thinking a high end couch would not do that. I do love how it looks and other than the feathers, it is comfortable. Wish I Had A More Favorable Experience.

Kind of meh for since Home Fabrics exists. I would go there first, and if you want something more extravagant, go here. The staff also weren’t very present — no one approached me at all, and I didn’t see anyone who appeared to work there, but I also was just browsing, so no harm, no foul.
Also why the cheesy name for an upscale place? Sounds like «Toys R Us» instead of «Rebecca de Winter Luxury Textiles» or whatever.

Madana is of great help. However, the upholstery services they offer are not dependable. My pillow covers were cut too small, though they had the previous cover, and the Brunschwig fabric was very expensive and irreplaceable so I’ll have to live with it. The covers were delivered with wrinkles that my iron could not take out and on fabric that was impeccable and came on a roll. Then there were misunderstandings about recovering the cushion of a large comfortable chair.
Disappointing, though Mandana is a real asset to the place, creative, hard-​working, and wants to make it the best experience she can.

Horrible experience! I would never recommend this place to anyone. They will say what you want to hear to take your money. As soon as you «prepay» you’ll fall to the bottom of their to do list and NEVER return your calls. Very rude sales people and a huge lack of communication. Orginization would be helpful for this business.
The last time I was there l couldn’t help but overhear another very unhappy customer having a fit with the results of her finished project. The lady that was helping her was extremely defensive. Makes me wonder how this hodge-​podge trinket/​fabric store can stay open

I used to shop in WE R Fabrics years ago, and hadn’t really had the need to do so for quite some time. I was looking for fabric to redo a piece of furniture, and wandered in. The store has more decorator items than I remembered from the past, and is much prettier inside.
It is still filled with great fabrics, and I was amazed to see one of the sales ladies there, Mandana, who worked there when I shopped there years ago. I was trying to find a specific fabric, which I had seen at a different store. I showed it to the clerk, and told her I hadn’t wanted to pay that much for fabric. She found me a number of other fabrics which were similar, and told me honestly, if I could get the one I liked, for the sale price at the other store, I would be getting a great deal. I appreciate that kind of honesty when I am shopping.
I ended up getting some trim for this project– and once again, they were very helpful in finding a trim that would work for my upholstery project– going above and beyond in showing me different options.
By the way– if you need someone to actually MAKE an item, or upholster a piece of furniture, they have people who can do it ALL for you!
And for my upcoming projects, it won’t be so long before I return to We R Fabrics again!

We have been using We R Fabrics/​We R Home to decorate our new home. Believe me, we would be lost without them. Rebecca is amazing. She comes in the house and bing, bing, bing just has these great ideas with what we can do with each room. They will work with you on budget. They have found incredible things for us at really reasonable prices. We have done some stuff that is high end, but even that has been at great value for what it is. In the living room, the sofas have this incredible fabric that looks like rich and expensive suede, but is wearable and even washable for a family with a 6 year old.
It is an incredible bargain. You get an interior designer for free. They are extremely cost and quality conscious. They work with you to understand your style. You’re not limited by what is in the store. They work with a large variety of manufacturers. Plus they’ll take their time to make recommendations for things they make nothing on. They have helped us with paint colors for various rooms, recommended repainting old furniture rather than replacing, recommended outdoor landscaping improvements, researched counter top changes, helped us choose flooring, introduced us to a pottery and planting vendor, art galleries, … none of which they get anything back from. In fact, Rebecca has made sure that we get her pricing with these people as well where she has a relationship.
If you are just doing a room or your whole house and you want it to reflect who you are, say something and be livable, then you owe it to yourself to start here.

From the moment I stepped into this beautiful store I had a positive experience. I was greeted in a friendly, non-​pushy, genuine manner by employees. I came into browse for fabric for kitchen curtains and was pessimistic I’d find anything since this was my fourth stop that day in search of said fabric. Not only did I find two fabrics I loved they were both priced very reasonably. An employee named Deborah was extremely helpful in taking my window measurements and translating them into an estimate of fabric I’d need for six panels. The amount of fabric they had fell short based on her measurements but I loved the fabric so much I bought it anyway and with some creative sizing I am able to make it work. Deborah was so pleasant and helpful and I felt instantly comfortable with her.

While this store has a lot to offer I was surprised to hear that the parent company filed a lawsuit against Home Goods to stop their addition to the Solana Beach property. There is room for both stores since their products are quite different. Shame on We R Fabrics.

I like many others had poor /​no customer service and found the actual fabric selection pretty scarce and over priced. I was ignored when I browsed, was never offered help although the employees were standing around with no other customers in the store. I honestly don’t know how they have remained in business for as long as they have. Much better selection and service is just a few miles North at 2 competitors in Encinitas. I’ve given them 3 separate chances to improve my opinion over the last few years, and each time the experience has been the same. 3 strikes, you’re out.

I have a hard time giving this place two stars, it probably should be 1, but Sally maintained a very pleasant attitude, and was always friendly.
I ordered two sets of custom drapes from this store.
The first was a set of Roman Shades, the second a set of matching drapes. For the drapes I gave them an exact copy of what I wanted.
I don’t think I have the energy to go through all the problems there were with this order, and if I did type it in, you would probably not believe it.
I probably had to go back and forth because there were problems with how the drapes were made and to approve changes maybe 15 times. It took 6 — 9 months from when I ordered the drapes until I finally had them. I didn’t even want the drapes anymore, and several times just asked for my money back but they wouldn’t do it.
One set of drapes had two different dye lots sewn together into one panel. It was evident it was not the same material, yet that’s what they gave me. They didn’t believe me at first that their work room had sewn drapes like this.
The first set I received was not the length I had specified in my order, the troubles went on and on.
Maybe the fourth set I refused to go pick them up because I had already gone back multiple times for each previous set, they delivered them without all the panels.
On a positive note, Sally was always cheerful, polite and never gave up. I actually would have preferred they did give up and just give me my money back, but given I had no choice, I must say Sally was pleasant to work with.
At the beginning of the order, I also had a dispute (but I had already paid for the fabric and they wouldn’t let me cancel then either). I paid for the material, the labor, etc. Once it was all paid for, they called to say they forgot to charge me for the lining. I thought the lining was included in the price they quoted, but it was I think at least 300 dollars more, and they didn’t bring it up until days after I paid for everything. I thought it was a little dishonest, and offered to pay for the lining at cost since there was an error. The owner was pretty rude about it. It was a bit shocking actually, but I had already paid and was stuck.
I couldn’t recommend this business after my experience..

Love this store. Service is impeccable.

I have been purchasing from this store for over 15 years. The employees and staff are very helpful. There are times when they are very busy but they seem to be able to get to all the customers.
I have worked with the owner, Rebecca many times. All I have to do is ask for an idea, and she comes up with solutions effortlessly.
The fabric selections are endless at this store. Often, there is so much to choose from, it is difficult to decide. Whatever my budget is, they seem to find the right fit for me.
I know whenever I need to start fresh, recover or redo, I will always go to them. I am confident their pricing is competitive and fair.
I highly recommend this company.

Was I ever lucky to find We R Fabrics after smoke from a fire destroyed our outdoor furniture cushions! I thought I had to throw away the furniture and begin from scratch… but Rebecca, the owner, worked with me to custom make chaise, dining chair and bar stool cushions saving me thousands by not having to buy new furniture.
The store sent a professional seamstress to my house to take all the necessary measurements. Then I picked out fabric, edge details and trim.

I love this store! It’s always full of new and fresh design and decorating ideas. I especially like some of the ‘one of a kind’ finds.
There are so many cookie-​cutter interior and home design and decorating options in our area and most of North County. For something unique, personalized and on trend, I find it to be a pleasure to visit We R Fabrics… something of a treasure hunt on most visits.
I have always enjoyed a gracious, personalized customer service experience… and am about to revisit them to have two antique wing chairs reupholstered. I look forward to working with the team at WRF to find the right fabric options… and the quality and workmanship are unparalleled.
This store is a great find tucked into the Von’s shopping center just southeast of I-​5. Easy access. Great parking. Not to be missed.

After moving into my new home I needed to find a drapery company to furnish draperies for most of my windows, and was referred to ‘We R Fabrics’. I met with the stores owner, Jonathan and one of his consultants, Mandana. I cannot say enough about We R Fabrics. Although, they have many fabric choices, they also have a large variety of furnishings, accessories and will custom design any style of furniture you are looking for.
I have been working closely with Mandana who has been fabulous. She is professional, polite, courteous, patient, reliable, dependable, and thorough. She has been very helpful in assisting me all my window treatments. Whenever I have a question or concern, Mandana is quick to respond and address the issue; right away.
Also, Dana who does all the installations is great. He is professional and does an outstanding job.
The fabric prices can range from reasonable to pricey but Mandana was able to work with me and find the fabrics and curtain rods that were in the price range.
I would highly recommend «We R Fabrics» to my family and friends. They are professional and provide a large range of quality fabrics and furnishings for your home.

Rude and overpriced. My husband heard them snickering over the fabric choice I made. I had told them it was my first time recovering chairs but instead of telling me my choice wouldn’t work well they laughed behind my back and sold it to me. Yes my husband heard you guys! All around they were not helpful.
