Excellent DJ services for a great price. Professional management.
My company holds a holiday party every year. Frankly, last year’s event was boring. Many of our employees stayed just long enough to see if they won a raffle prize, and not one minute longer. We lacked interaction and the ambiance was yawn-​inducing. So we decided to get a DJ this year.
Unsure what to expect, Marisa and her assistant Makai arrived two hours early to set up and make sure everything was in order. This made me feel good about our investment. They played awesome, modern music (after starting out a little milquetoast, but you can never tell what will offend people in 2016), providing an atmosphere that was completely missing from last year’s event. Marisa even played interactive games (trivia, etc.) to help keep people engaged. Additionally, Marisa constantly communicated with us to ensure she was timing the games, the raffle, etc., according to our wishes. She demonstrated a good feel for the crowd. Marisa and Makai even got some (8 – 12) of our notoriously shy employees to dance, but I suspect alcohol played a role as well.
On the back end, billing was easy to trace, which is important for my company. I was issued a proper invoice and was able to pay everything online (on a website that works!) with a company credit card. I can access and print invoices and transaction receipts at will, too. This provides total transparency, which means I won’t have to deal with accounting interrogating me about this transaction. Some of our largest vendors don’t have accounting this direct and manageable, so kudos to Jenny the owner here.
If and when we need a DJ in the future, we’ll contact Mix N Hits first.

We hired DJ Jenny for our wedding after having attended a friend of ours wedding where she was the DJ and absolutely loved her. We were impressed with the amount of professionalism and how attentive she was to our questions and concerns when we met prior to the wedding. They showed up early and set up quickly. It took them minutes to go though everything with us before we started the reception. When the music started, I could immediatly hear the high quality sound from her noticible knowledge of mixing properly to the high quality of the equipment they were using. Having been a professional musician/​recording studio tech for many bands myself, I can really appreciate good sound quality when I hear it. Throughout the celebration she interacted with our crowd and got people up and dancing having a great time.
I would recommend using this company for any event you may need a DJ for. My wife has even booked her again for a corporate event she has with her company in the future. I have booked DJs for events in the past that weren’t prepared and they had a long way to go before reaching DJ Jenny’s level of expertise. Not to mention the price they charged was more than reasonable with Mix N Hits Entertainment. You won’t find better quality, preparation, professionalism, skilled entertainment for the price or even at higher prices for that matter. You can’t go wrong with this entertainment company.
