History

Established in 1989.

Dr. Lamont Loy is devoted to making a difference in your health through the art of chiropractic. He has been practicing in the Solana Beach/​Del Mar area since 1989. Dr. Loy takes care of individuals at all stages of life: newborns, teenagers, college students, amateur and professional athletes, busy executives, mothers-​to-​be, active and retired seniors.

A competitive athlete himself, participating in local cycling, surfing and swimming clubs, Dr. Loy fully understands the specialized health care needs of athletes and active lifestyle patients. His passion is caring for members of the North County Coastal communities and showing patients the power of the body to heal itself when spinal alignment and optimum nerve flow are restored.

As a boy, Dr. Loy personally experienced the dramatic benefits of chiropractic care to correct his severe allergies. This childhood experience planted the seed of inspiration that led him to pursue chiropractic arts as his chosen profession.

After graduating from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor of Science degree, he attended the prestigious Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Dr. Loy is a strong believer in continuing education and staying at the forefront of the latest advances in chiropractic and alternative health care.

Beyond treating your pain and other basic symptoms, Dr. Loy focuses on Nervous System Restoration — correcting the vital nerve flow from the spinal cord to all of your body’s major organs and tissues. He takes the time to educate you on the direct relationship between your spinal column and nervous system, and how your spinal health can affect your overall state of wellness.

With a natural ability to put patients at ease, Dr. Loy takes special care in explaining the recommended course of care, often using X-​rays to more accurately diagnose and show patients the current health status of their spine.
