Excellent place for your short game needs, it’s both good for the beginner yet challenging enough for the advanced!!!

My rating is based on the price. $ 40 is just too much to pay to only use 3 or 4 clubs. You’ll spend most of your day playing you wedge or 9 iron. Gets repetitive. The course is in fantastic shape and the staff is very friendly. Just think you can get more bang for your buck elsewhere

Great place to work on your short game. The course is pretty much always in great shape. For an executive course the greens are great too. They do a good job keeping them up. There’s only two ‘Par 4’s’ on the course though neither of them are over 250 yards. The main downside here is they only have a putting green and no place to warm up with full swings or chips. They do have a nice large practice putting green to use though. The prices are towards the high side but I don’t think it’s over priced. There’s usually a beverage cart circling around as well and they have a bar next to the golf shop that also serves food. They do have golf carts that you can rent as well as pull carts if you want to walk. They have a bathroom out on the course that has a water fill up station that you see after hole 7 and again after hole 11.

This is about a 4.5 star affair…
The course is in significantly better condition this time without tee box maintenance repairs etc. With the CA drought on this course is in pretty good shape from a «green» perspective. The holes are extremely fun for the «Anti Big Dog Crowd» with some nice par 3’s. The holes are pretty diverse so it keeps things interesting.
It can bog down a little given it is a small course but that is likely unavoidable if you choose a weekend. The neighborhood is nice and they have some cool 70s’ Spanish style condos on the course that leads to my mind wandering with the idea of buying one and retiring on a golf course.
This is a great course to work on your short game. I was fortunate enough to find the greens early and pretty often which led to an enjoyable round.
The STAFF in the pro shop are nice and all else is good here. If it were closer to our home we would be here more often for sure.

This is my favorite Executive course in San Diego… I love the shorter holes, and that it is consistently well maintained. I have been golfing once a month for the last 5 years or so, and so I guess I’m considered a «beginner». I walked 18 holes this weekend and was, as usual, quite happy with the course. This is the kind of course to do when you’re feeling like getting out, but maybe not taking things as seriously. Grab a push cart & a few beers and give this course a try!

Very well maintained Executive golf course. Drawbacks it has no driving range only a putting area to warm up. It only has 2 holes longer than 200 yards so it’s basically a course for beginners, seniors or someone who wants to practice with their short irons aka (wedges-​8 iron). They have older golf carts and It’s a little hilly so you might want to take a cart if your into the drink beers mode. As it’s cart paths only I walked and despite the hills it was a very easy walk. With the elevation changes, wind, sand traps and they way they cut the grass so there is some rough, this actually is a challenging par 3 course. A good golfer will enjoy practicing his scoring clubs and it’s a good beginner course. Ocean close so it gets a nice breeze so it wasn’t to hot. Nice track.

This golf course is a bit tricky to get to because my GPS was way off course. The trick to the GPS was to go by the address. I’m not by any means docking them on this since it’s purely my phone’s fault.
As for the golf course it’s not bad at all. They have carts, but the course is just a par 3 and its easy to walk it. I was here for a quick tourney and it was fun. There are a few holes with some strategically placed bunkers with some minor elevation changes. The greens aren’t that fast, but they are pretty well kept. There are a few lengthy par 3s and overall this is a fun little course that you don’t really need a tee time reservation. It wasn’t busy on the Wednesday that I went. I would compare this place to Tecolote Canyon Golf Course.

The little course on the coast! It is walkable, and can be completed in less than 3 hours. The weather is usually great, and conveniently located off I-​5. The price is right as well. Their rates are affordable, making this one to come back to time and time again. I like that I can play this course with the guys and compete stroke for stroke. Its casual yet has some challenging holes. Fun for the whole family.

This has become one of our favorite places to play. Our daughter (12), son (16) and my wife and I had the greatest time playing as a family. I’d been here once before with my Father-​In-​Law and it was great, so I brought the whole family back. It’s well maintained, with simple but challenging holes. They even have the courtsey carts with drinks, sandwiches and snacks if you’re so inclined. (Kids will always want something). I usually find that only at tournaments ~ but it’s convenient and very nice.

If you want to play on a very nice executive course in Coastal San Diego, this is the spot. Very well maintained.
Most holes are 100 – 130 yards. There are two holes that are about 250 yards depending on pin and tee placements.

I love this golf course. I am still a pretty new golfer. I really enjoy it, but I’m still pretty bad :(Haha…anyways…I love this place to practice! Its really pretty and relaxing. My boyfriend, who is really good, likes this place too!

I love this little place — it’s just casual enough you can take your kids there for a «fun» round of golf.
It’s not for golf purists, but hey, it’s an «executive course», what do you expect!!!
Plus they have Glowball nights — LOVE it — this is «fun golf». Do yourself a favor, come here to have FUN, not to challenge your game.

This place has some special memories for me so I have to give it a good rating! I’ve played some of the best rounds of my life at this course (which isnt saying much haha).
Great little executive which I consider a good course to come and work out your irons. Its not too tough so you wont get too frustrated. The holes are all pretty short but they do have a few par 4’s. I got my first Eagle ever on hole 14. I hit a shot that I will never forget. I was with 11 of my closest friends and we were playing a round for my birthday. I was in the middle pack so i had 4 guys ahead of me and 4 behind me so most of them saw my shot. It was the par 4 14^th. I hit a drive down the center and i was about 60yds out. I hit a pitching wedge and got too much on it. The ball went up and came down in the cup! It didnt touch the ground, It hit the base of the flag sticking out of the hole and just rattled and stayed in. NOTHING BUT NET lol. Mayhem ensued as i freaked out and threw my club in the air and started yelling. I dont think as long as i live i will ever hit another shot like that where it goes in without touching the ground. I will always remember this course for that and the wonderful memories i have had here.
Its a nice course, not too challenging and its very relaxing. I recommend this course.

Nice little executive course near Solana Beach with a basic offering of par 3s with a couple of par 4s.
I’ve played a few other executive courses around SD and I can’t say there’s anything remarkable about this one unfortuantely. It’s relatively inexpensive for a round and you can get through it in well under 4 hours, maybe even 3 if there’s not too many people on the course.
The layout is okay with more trees than other executive courses, but they rarely come into play since almost every hole is ~100 yards. There are a lot of traps, with many placed between the tee box and the green, making it likely you’ll hit a few. The smaller green size in combination with the trap locations makes it a good place to practive ~10−20 yard chip and sand shots.
One downside is the amount of divots and ball marks due to the short holes. They rarely come into play and the tee rotation seems to keep the boxes in decent shape, but they’re almost everywhere. Also only 18 hole rounds are offered and not 9, which is good to keep in mind when making a tee time.
The combination of pricing and berevity of the course make it ideal for a weekend morning round and short game tuning.

This course is a very nice par 3 course with a country club feel to it. It is well maintained and beautiful landscape. The holes tend to be pretty short, but it is still a fun course to play. It is a tad on the pricier side for a par 3 course.

If your looking for an upper class snooty type place, but don’t have much golf skills than this is your place. It has the upkeep (very nice greens and fairways) and high prices ($ 20-​$ 35 w/​o cart) which is a change from the usual par 3 courses. The fact that it is more expensive keeps the non golfers away, but this course is way too easy. Most of the holes are ~100 yards and like a previous Unilocaler said you basically chip and put every hole. You could easilly play with a pitching wedge and putter only.
It is nice in that you can get a quick round in, but it is too quick. Do yourself a favor and walk! I am lazy and like to relax and drink beer when I golf without too much walking, but this course is so short that a cart is just a waste of $$.
If you want to get a sense of what a nicer course feels like but don’t want to go to a nice Country Club I would recommend this place.
For anyone else I would recommend staying away. Singing Hills Par 3 course is cheaper, a lot bigger, and a lot more fun while almost just as nice.

It just so happens that I do play like a 10 year old girl, David so this course is awesome.
18 holes that are extremely fun & doable for beginners. There are only 3 holes that need a driver. But you don’t feel intimating when you are there. The golf shop is filled with extremely nice people.
4 «golfers» 2 carts for around $ 200 bucks on a Sunday afternoon.

Probably one of the nicest exec courses in San Diego. Pro shop staff can be a little rude and bog up the course by shoving people out too quickly, but at least the course is nice.
Beer cart girl comes around enough to make it worthwhile…

i’m not an avid golfer, but when I do play, this executive course is one of my faves given its strategically placed bunkers and deceiving hills.
A few of the holes also give great views of San Elijo Lagoon. There’s usually a cute gal that drives her cart around. She’s nice.
I don’t ask for much when I play since I’m not that serious. But, If you rent a cart and fuel your game with beer, you will have a great time.
