Last night I attended Crystal’s Bioluminescent Bonfire to check out the neon green fireworms in Mission Bay. I had no idea what to expect but was blown away by Crystal’s enthusiasm and knowledge of our local wildlife. Before setting out to find the worms, she taught us about the fireworms and why, scientifically, we can find the worms on certain days of the year-​and not others. After the tour, Crystal set up a bonfire complete with marshmallows and ingredients to make smores. I highly recommend Crystals’ tours for an awesome night! Definitely great (and interesting!) for all ages.
