There are not many things you can review a gas station for. 1. gas prices are descent for the neighborhood 2. Conveniently located on a busy street corner so it depends which direction you are going. 3. Cleanliness is not an issue here that I have seen.(did not use restroom) 4. Selection of food and drinks is pretty good and stuff is priced reasonably. This is not the best gas station in the world but it is evident that they are doing the best they can with what they have.

This place is the pinnacle of poor experiences. The employees are so rude and very short with their customers. I’m confused on why they work at this place, they clearly do not enjoy it. The facility as a whole is worn down and dirty. The snack selection is alright, but it’s just a gross place. For an Arco, which I always felt like has great fuel prices, this location is just as expensive if not more than everywhere else. I will literally go across the street from now on even if that Shells gas prices are also outrageous. Avoid this place is you can. The fair/racetrack traffic is already reason enough but if you can make it across the street or down to Flowerhill mall that is your best bet.

Attendant was crazy rude and wanted to charge for air. Only gas station in so cal that had an issue. FYI. If you buy $.05 of gas– the law is the air is free.

Gas is gas but the location has a great location and a wide selection of drinks and snacks. Pay cash to avoid paying the transaction fee

Not the best gas prices. They used to be super competitive but not anymore. I come here for gas only if I am out of gas and can’t make it to another station near me in CV. They are very conveniently located and the parking isn’t abundant. Easy in and out and close to the 5 which puts them in a good locale.

Worst gas station, ever. There is a real reason why they have two stars. I would give them zero, if I could. The cashier was a real piece of work. I suspect that he was the owner because of his arrogance and indifference. Bathrooms were hastily roped off with tape. When I asked to use one, after filling my tank, I was told they were ‘broken’. Both, I asked? He said yes, which was a total lie. I told him it was illegal to not have a working bathroom for patrons and he basically told me off with few words. On my way out, I saw someone urinating on the side of the building by the trash bins. I will definitely contact the better business bureau or whoever it takes to report this. And funny, my review doesn’t show up because Arco pays Unilocal for advertisement. I’m on to you. This isn’t the last you’ve heard of me.

Terrible gas station with extremely rude employees. Absolutely will not return. Recommend going anywhere else.

This place is closed for an hour or two every morning, right when I go to work. There are customers banging on the door and the big Samoan chick won’t let anyone in. Go across the street to the Shell station. At least they’re nice and don’t close.

After a bad experience in June and complaining to the regional office, I received a call from the owner’s representative. I appreciate the service recovery and remediation.

This station is very convenient but is rather expensive. It is close to the free way and gets lots of customers during the fair and track seasons so they keep their prices high. The debit card readers don’t always work and their was a stretch of months early this year where they rarely had gas. What kind of gas station doesn’t sell gas?!?

During the time of my visit, this gas station was surprisingly cheaper than any other stations in my area. It just so happened I was having dinner in downtown Del Mar and noted that the price for premium was a little over $ 4. Other gas stations I’ve passed was merely $ 4.15−4.20. I made sure to stop and gas up! Can’t miss this station as it’s a main landmark in Del Mar heading towards the fairgrounds. Can get busy during peak times.

five: forty pm arrival…$ten cash fed to prepay machine to pump gas… back to pump and nothing… going inside to ask if something wrong… mario is uninterested and mutters to try again… going back and trying again… nothing…back inside to inform mario… uninteresting and no help… asking if mario can see if anybody put in $ten in the prepay… mario saying that there were none… frustrated and disappointed… asking for a manager… mario works alone and no manager is available… accuses me of lying… check the video… asking for a business card and there are none… asking for anything with an address, number and name of manager/owner…mario quickly grabs a receipt from the garbage and scribbles the name of the manager… look at the receipt…17:39 for prepay for $ten and zero gallons of gas pump’d…“change cash $-10.00″…that’s my receipt… …did mario steal $ten?..
