Amazonia Kitchen & Bath

We hired Amazonia based on the Unilocal reviews we read for our kitchen remodel. Working with Amazonia, we were able to pick out the material we wanted from the stores we wanted. This isn’t always the case with certain vendors. Plus, we received great pricing for the material. We did our countertops and backsplash. David did an excellent job with our Quartz and was very thorough in making sure it was laid out to our liking. Sergie was amazing! He cut the glass tile to sit flush with the crown molding. His attention to detail on our backsplash was beyond what we could have hoped for. When all was done, our electrician came to put in our electrical units and we noticed the grid lines from the tile was off slightly. A quick call to Randy, and he had Sergie come back the next day to fix it. We were extremely pleased with the work Amazonia did on our kitchen!

This is my second time in 2 years using Randy and his team. Needless to say I was very happy the first time around and came back for the second. Scheduling, quality, workmanship, and installation are all 5 stars! Any concerns are resolved quickly. I would highly recommend Amazonia Kitchen and Bath!

Randy just completed my 2^nd bathroom and I am once again extremely happy with the work he and his team have done! I found Amazonia by all the great reviews and they did not disappoint! Randy is in constant contact and answers all questions promptly! His workers are very professional and their work is impeccable! It is a relief to know when you are working on a remodel you don’t have to worry about your granite fabrication or install. I am starting my 3^rd bathroom in a couple of days and I will be calling Randy! Thank you for being so easy to work with and for doing such a great job!

This is not my first time at the rodeo; I’ve remodeled half a dozen kitchens so I’ve seen it all when it comes to contractors: the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Randy, David, and the entire Amazonia crew land squarely in the «good» camp. In fact, they were awesome.
During the bidding process, Randy was extremely responsive and communicative. The fact that his bid was the lowest, combined with Amazonia’s stellar reputation, sealed the deal.
Amazonia have the entire process down to a science, and they are extremely clear with in setting expectations with their clients in terms of timing; they even have the entire process mapped out on their website.
Before I had even selected Amazonia, Randy had already emailed me some sample stock from one of the stone yards he works with — and that ended up being the stone yard I used as their stock and prices were great. Amazonia has relationships with several stone yards where they get a discount and they pass this savings down to you.
The crew was extremely clean and conscientious, both during the demo stage and the installation process. The crew worked late on the second day of installation — staying until 10pm to ensure everything was in as promised and tidy before they left.
The measure of any trade is not what happens when things go well, but when there are problems. Randy and the team handled the one or two small issues that came up immediately and fairly.
In short, if there were 6 stars, I’d give them. I highly recommend Amazonia for your stone needs.

Every company I have ever requested quotes from on Unilocal gives me a straight answer within 3 days. Randy messaged me to ask me for pictures and never replied after that. Bad customer service in my opinion. At least inform me that you can’t.

Amazonia retiled a bathroom and installed 2 countertops for me. Their attention to detail and professionalism are top notch. They were respectful and a pleasure to have around. I’m very happy with the result and will likely use them again.

I’ve had Randy’s guys out for two different projects a floor tile job and quartz countertop job both times his guys have done excellent work. Communication with Randy has always been prompt and courteous. He follows up, and wants to make sure you are happy with the result. I would highly recommend his services.

Amazonia did an amazing job in our kitchen. Alfredo and crew installed beautiful granite countertops in the kitchen; the seaming and peninsula overhang were flawless. Val & Serg were meticulous in the tile work they did for the stainless backsplash. Randy Jacobs handled everything behind the scenes and the entire project went smoothly. I decided to go with Amazonia because they had really good reviews. After working with them to replace my kitchen counters, I have nothing but positive things to say. Amazonia was the greatest decision we made for our countertops and backsplash. Not only was Randy and his team able to complete the project in a sort amount of time, they did it with professionalism, craftsmenship, and complete kindness. Every single person on the crew was beyond polite and did an outstanding job. This company exceeded my expectations at every turn. We even had a minor setback with the company we purchased the slabs from (nothing to do with Randy) and Randy took care of it all and still came in on time. The price was great and I was able to get everything I wanted and they even give you a lifetime warranty. Randy always followed up to make sure things were going well. I cannot recommend them enough!

I decided to hire Amazonia because of their good reviews, the long list of references provided that I could contact… and unlike every other company I tried, they didn’t try to get me to gut my whole damn kitchen. I really appreciate that Randy:
— Worked within my budget
— Answered all of my emailed questions
— Provided advice but let me make decisions without pressure
— Set up the work on Fridays and Saturdays so I didn’t have to take time off from work.
— Was highly responsive to any pop-​up issues during the work execution.
I’d been looking for someone I could trust to remodel my condo kitchen for almost 2 years. It’s really hard to trust kitchen remodelers when you get quotes ranging $ 17,000 to $ 30,000 for my small 8′ x 8′ kitchen. It really bothered me that other companies (even cheapie Ikea) used scare tactics to try to get me buy things I didn’t want. I decided to keep my existing cabinets which are structurally sound.
I need to point out that the tile work done by Sergei was outstanding; his attention to detail, experience, and craftsmanship was fantastic and I could not be any more happy. I am so glad I decided to trust the work to someone with 15 years experience (his father trained him) rather than attempt to cut expensive thick glass tile myself. The demolition and installation work done by Jimmy and crew was excellent; they were so friendly and helpful in addressing all of my questions and concerns. Even the plumbing crew was so nice and went out of their way to quickly purchase a ladder so they could reach the water shut-​off valves in the garage parking area.
Amazonia removed my old countertop and backsplash which was ugly, hard-​to-​clean 4.25″ white tile. They installed my beautiful «Atlantic Salt» quartz countertop and «Elida Ceramic Volcanic Platinum» ¼-​inch thick glass tile. The work was completed in 3 weeks but they could have finished in about 8 days; they did the work based on my personal schedule.
I’m keeping my budget under control by doing some work myself:
— Repaint my cabinets (something I’ve done before and am confident I can do).
— Replace track lighting with LED lighting (I’m an engineer).
— Replace cabinet door hardware.
— Install window treatment hardware and sew 100% linen curtains.
I’ve attached «before» and «after» photos. I still need to paint, replace hardware, and hang the window treatment, but it gives you an idea of the work done by Amazonia. I’m essentially getting a brand new kitchen for a total (including everything, even paint brushes, etc.) price of under $ 6,300. Because I didn’t gut my whole kitchen I could afford to use very high end materials.
And no, I did not get any kind of compensation for this review. If they hadn’t done a good job, I’d be the first to let you know!

Amazonia has once again done an incredible job in my kitchen. I have had them out in three phases over six months to do my kitchen countertop, backsplash, and floor. The tile floor was finished up today and is flawless. The best part is how timely and clean Randy’s guys work. They show up when they say they will and the job is done when they say it will be done. I came home today expecting to clean up dust and wipe everything down. No need, the guys wiped all the dust off my appliances and I can just relax. Thank you Randy and team!

I’ve found their pricing to be very reasonable and they definitely deserve a five star rating.

I selected Amazonia after speaking with and getting quotes from three companies total. The great Unilocal reviews solidified my choice. Randy is very responsive and returns emails and texts very quickly. I really appreciate that. The workers showed up to template in a timely manner and were very accommodating with my schedule — coming at 5pm on a weekday. Really nice.
They also allowed me to go to their shop to approve the layout of our granite prior to fabrication. That was important because our stone has very light and very dark areas and it was to be installed as desktops. My son has a strong preference for the light areas so we wanted to be sure to layout the pieces appropriately.
Scheduling installation was challenging. Although they extensively advertise a 7 day turnaround they were unable to do so for me. We did the templating ⁸⁄₄ and layout ⁸⁄₁₁. We were not able to do the installation until ⁸⁄₂₀. Worse, the install date kept changing. I received an email ⁸⁄₁₇ that the install wouldn’t happen ⁸⁄₁₈ because they just realized I had 3 cm stone and it would take longer. We agreed on ⁸⁄₂₀ between 10 – 12. The night before I got an email changing the time to 2−4pm. I do really appreciate being kept updated.
Our install did proceed on ⁸⁄₂₀ but when I saw the work I was surprised to see that the stone had been installed backwards with the dark stone on my son’s side. I couldn’t figure out how that could happen given that we approved the layout and I have photos of the approved layout. We finally figured out it had to be installed backward because they broke a corner of the stone. It’s repaired but one side of the stone came back together nicely and the other did not. Installing it upside down looks fine but puts the dark area in the wrong place.
I know granite is a natural product and I know it could have broken through no fault of their own. It’s stone. I totally understand that. What I don’t understand is how no one said anything to me about what happened or asked me if a backwards install was okay. I had plenty of stone remaining in my slabs to re-​cut it and that would have been my preference if asked. I was also disappointed that they failed to clean up after install. The brand new desks were left really dirty and banged up.

We worked with Amazonia after talking to a few different companies. We ultimately went with Amazonia from their strong Unilocal reviews. We spoke with Randy on the phone and he worked us up a quote off of our plans. He also worked with us to get a discounted rate on our granite piece. They came out and measured when we were ready and had the granite ready for us a little over a weeks time. (good turn around)! David who came out an measured was friendly and very knowledgeable. He is the installer and fabricator. You will speak with Randy for the set up and bid process but he is definitely the man behind the curtain. But pleasant to work with and quick on the communication. He likes to text which I am not a huge fan of but he does respond well and will respond at all times of day. There was a confusion on some costs for some bathroom vanities, but in the end Randy honored the price we thought they would be. This shows good character of a business. I would recommend this company.
I am not sure if they have a store front and I am thinking they don’t. Not a deal breaker but when you are spending a lot of money it is good to feel a little secure with a home location. But in the end they did what they said they would do and gave us a great product.

Im very happy with their work. Thy did an amazing job on my kitchen granite counter tops. I wouldn’t go with anyone else! I am very satisfied with their work. They are very clean and detail oriented. Very professional and affordable prices. I defiantly recommend them, I promise you will not be disappointed.
