Business Owner

The owner of Sunset Landscape and Design, Brian Grunkemeier, got his start as a grounds keeper at Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA where he was part of the Grounds Maintenance Division. Later, after relocating to Seattle, he worked for various landscape companies and also was Assistant Manager of The Magnolia Garden Center in Seattle. With only a truck, a lawnmower, and a few other pieces of necessary equipment, Brian launched his own business in the Seattle area in 1980. It didn’t take long for his expertise to become known and he developed a loyal following of faithful customers who continue to use his services. n the beginning Sunset Landscape & Design, Inc. serviced mainly Seattle but now it has expanded to the Eastside areas of Woodinville, Bothell, and Kirkland and most of South Snohomish County including Mill Creek, Edmonds, Everett, Snohomish, Woodinville, Bothell, and Kirkland.
