Wait times always exceed 1 hr. They obviously overbook appointments to maximize money. Long wait to be checked in. Once you’re in the back, it’s a long wait until the dr comes in. When you finally see the doctor they only spend a few minutes with your child so they don’t really get to know them. Then if your child needs shots, there’s a long wait for the nurse to come back. It’s ridiculous.
The only reason I continue to come to this office is because it’s one of the only providers bear my home that accept my insurance.

I have twins who have been with Dr. Miller since birth, they are almost 2. She is amazing and always answered any questions we had. There are also some of her nurses which are so nice and loving to my girls. They were always attentive, even if I was unsure if I was overreacting by bringing the girls in, they were preemies. The staff always took my concerns seriously, which I appreciated. The downside, the wait times can be long… with twin babies it was hard. Other than that, we love this place!

Ok so My Husband and I love nurse practitioner Juanita Joiner. She has took care of my son for about 6 years and my daughter for almost 2. She is sweet as pie, and really care about the children. She knows their face and called them by name. Before coming to her I went to atleast three pediatricians, and it didn’t work out, because I just felt like another number waiting to be seen on my list. My only negative would have to be the phone answering service to make appointment. I don’t know if they really
busy but they just really rush you. I also feel that they are very short with you when trying to explain something or request someone. Other than that I really love this place and the staff.

Long phone wait times. The «triage» service is a joke at best — you must always come in, even if you’ve just been seen days ago. Long wait times at the office unless you utilize the Saturday and Sunday sick appts (and be prepared to wait at least 15 minutes on the phone to take advantage of those days). And they avoid prescribing antibiotics to the extreme of making you come in 3 or more times on an issue before deciding that it has escalated to a double ear infection that now needs a basic dose of amoxicillin. .. right, that’s going to do it for something that has been growing for 3 to 4 weeks!!! I’m done! I’ve been taking my daughter there since she was born 7 years ago. I now have an 8 month old and just can’t stand them torturing him anymore.

Not worth the time. My son was sick over the weekend (Sunday.) I went to their website, followed their urgent care instructions, filled out all of their paper work, and kept trying to call them to set up an appointment for their urgent care services. No Where on Their Web Page did it say no new patients for urgent care. Even though they take our brand of insurance and when I got a hold of one of their staff members the woman said «no can’t take new patients on the weekend» and sorry we can’t help you (i.e. pity your child is sick oh well.) She also did not provide recommended alternatives. Her argument was that they were not capable of checking the insurance on the weekend. After the conversation I would definitely not be interested in their regular pediatric care either.

So far so good! After doing lots of research and interviewing various people, I found the Snellville Pediatrics group to be the best choice for our son. The location is conveniently attached to Emory Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, GA. I’ve met many of the doctors and I feel the group is knowledgable, well-​educated and easy to talk to. Keep in mind there are many who see this group so sometimes the wait times may be a bit long. Although that is not unexpected when a physicians group is so popular.
