Shepard’s Auto Salvage & Wrecker Service

Not even really going to go into detail on why they are terrible. Mostly terrible customer service took them 2 weeks to get power steering replaced. Then I get my vehicle back and the tie rod is bent that’s going to cost me out of pocket. Long story short the only reason this place is even still in business is because of a locally owned business sending their cars to them to be «fixed».

I would give a zero if I could. Turned my car in one week before my vacation and asked them to fix everything wrong with it. they said that should be plenty of time, they ended up keeping my car for 12 days because they said a bolt didnt come in, and I had to drive a different car on my leave coating me an extra 700 dollars to get that car ready, I took it to vw and it was done in 4 hours. Total cost was 1600 I paid to get my car fixed from shepards on the 27^th of December. On the 5^th of January, mind you the car might have been driven 80 miles since I picked it up, my engine light came back on. I took it in for them to see what’s wrong and they called me saying it would cost 700 dollars to fix because now the air pump had water in it from a crack in the line. I said I found it hard to believe it’s just coincidence my car is broken less than ten days after paying 1600 to Shepards and wanted another opinion. They tried to get me to pay the diagnostic fee of 70 dollars again, I did not. Absurd.
