Titan Games & Comics

Came here for the first time looking for some graphic novels. Great layout and they even have your RPG gaming section that looked pretty legit. Top that off with a very helpful staff and 20%military discount! I will defiantly be coming back here!

1^st Timer. Nice emporium with a phenomenal catalogue. Helpful staff, very social, knowledgeable about their wares and passionate about the product — a rarity in these times. I’d give the 5 star but I’m waiting to see how fast my back issue special order comes in. Either way, #AhllBeBach

New place a lot more parking with easy access. Great selection of comics and a very friendly staff. I loved this place as a kid and still love it as an adult. Love titans.

I’ve only been here once so my review reflects the visit. I’ll update when I show up a little more. I went here because I was visiting my brother up in Smyrna. I’m a fan of any comic book store.
The pros:
1. Plenty of parking because it’s in a shopping center. Pretty easy to find as well.
2. For a small store it’s a got a decent selection of comics. Most of them are current and popular from what I saw. They also have some toys and figurines.
3. I haven’t gone but they seem to sponsor game nights for board games, card games, and the like. It’s nice to see a place to this for the community.
The cons:
1. Definitely a smaller place with a much smaller inventory. I didn’t really see any small house publisher comics. I also didn’t see any variants for sale in the stacks. The toy and statue selection is sparse but this is typical of a place that is careful about how much inventory they maintain.
2. This is a pretty small place. Since they also focus on gaming events I think they keep the inventory lower than most places to accommodate those events. A store I’ve visited in Phoenix, AZ does the same thing. Not a bad thing, just a reason why some people might not find what they want.
3. Not to knock the salesperson but the most I got was a hello but not an offer of assistance. I don’t think I’m entitled to it but a smaller store would benefit from engaging with their customers.
I think this place has potential. It would most likely need a bigger spot in order to grow but only time will tell. It makes sense to have a comic store in this area to serve the needs of locals otherwise they’re facing a pretty long drive.

This stores is easy to miss if you come from the best buy side, so as soon as you past the Chinese restaurant make the left. Then just before the dollar store look left. The store is very well kept, and the staff is very helpful.

Titan Games & Comics was one of the first stores I ever visited for comics and board games. I myself have never been an avid comic reader, mostly interested in board games and MTG (Magic:The Gathering). I would eventually spend many Friday nights here playing MTG with friends. Over the course of these nights I realized what makes Titan Games & Comics my favorite, The staff.
A few of my more remarkable memories of Titan’s is their Board game days and Free Comic Book Days (May 4^th Weekend). Daniel and Katie are always really helpful to new and young players/​readers. I highly recommend checking out their website and finding one of their many events to attend. You will not be disappointed.
As a MTG player Titan’s is also invaluable. They are the only store I have found to sell their MTG products at MSRP and not jack the price up for profit. If you’re looking to purchase any supplemental products that tend to become expensive quick (From the Vaults, Commander Product, Event/​Duel decks, etc,.) I recommend preordering from Titan over anywhere else. They also do 20% MTG Boosters and accessories at their Friday Night Magic events.
Even though I don’t live as close as I use to, I still make a trip there for all the MTG set releases and as many game days as I can.

We fled another shop in search of a friendlier atmosphere and we found it here. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they have none of the «too cool for you» ‘tude prevalent in so many comic shops.
While there selection is not as large as the place we fled, Titan focuses on having complete lines of a few things rather than a mish mash of everything under the sun.
Great shop, great people, great experience all around.

It’s been at least ten years, maybe twenty, since I’ve been inside anything resembling a proper comics shop. I used to play Dungeons and Dragons back in the day. I don’t have any of the books, but somewhere around here is my collection of multi-​sided dice. So I was in the neighborhood and thought I’d give it a peek.
A few tables in the back were packed with gamers. Younger, older, male, female, all doing something that looked incomprehensible to me. But they seemed to be having fun.
I wandered the aisles looking for a few bits to give to my daughter who seems to have developed a total fan crush on Chris Hemsworth aka Captain America. I found the latest issue of that comic book and I also got a glossy Doctor Who book. Somehow without breaking the bank.
Credit cards are accepted with Square. The guy who rang up my purchase was extremely knowledgeable and gave me a very detailed answer to «When did they stop publishing Dragon magazine?» that didn’t involve making me feel any older than I already felt.
Good collection of stuff, well laid out. If you’re into this, or you’re looking for a gift for someone who is, you can’t go wrong with Titan. It’s in the very back of the shopping plaza, behind what is right now a Chinese restaurant.

Great shop. Staff is super cool and knowledgeable, and they stock a little bit of everything for whatever your interests. Good gaming section and lots of store-​supported events on weekend and evenings. Cleaner and more organized than done other shops in the area. Has completely replaced Dr. No’s and Oxford as my ship of choice, and new location is way more convenient.

Awesome shop. We used to visit the old location when I was a kid and still as nostalgic as ever. 100% recommend.

I visited Titan to play-​test a game a friend of mine has developed. I gotta say: the new location ROCKS! Spacious, and inviting, Titan has everything a fan /​gamer /​geek needs – not the least of which is a friendly staff who can talk to you at length about your interests, and what makes a comic great (or not) or what makes a game great (or not). I fell in love with this place immediately.
It’s been a while since I’ve been able to frequent a comics & games shop, and I was happy to see a steady stream of folks who keep their comics subscriptions at Titan. Plus, there are a variety of toys & collectibles all over the place.
They’ve got a large-​ish space in the back of the store filled with gaming tables you can reserve for whatever game you’ve got in mind. We did our play-​test next to some other folks who were playing a Marvel-​based heroes game. I thought I heard someone say something about a regular gaming meetup or two that meets-​up at this location. I’ll be looking forward to my next visit. Holler if you’re coming with.

Hubby and I stumbled on Titan Comics on accident. It was a great accidental find. Cool staff, great conversation, and great selection of comics: we felt like we had personal shoppers and consultants for comics. Hubby and I started back on The Walking Dead. It’s great we can find back issues and catch up at this spot. That, and I can’t wait for the new ElfQuest series. They put me back on! Kudos!

Better layout and friendlier staff. The new location is in a strange spot around the back of a shopping center near the dollar store. Very friendly staff eager to help. The old location was a good shop for a comic shop, but the new layout and location has their crew on their toes and very attentive. I went in on a «new comic day» and they were accommodating even when slammed with stocking the shelves.

My favorite comic shop in Atlanta. Period.
The new location is a huge leap forward from its previous location. It’s a brighter, cleaner, much more inviting atmosphere.
New comic releases are on the wall, all books at eye level. No crouching or leaping to see if you can find the issues that you’re looking for.
Prices on variants and back issues? Second to none.
HUGE gaming space in the back of the store.
Best. Comic Book Shop Staff. In Atlanta. PERIOD. They don’t have it? If it’s still in print, they’ll find it. Want to talk comics while you’re shopping? They’re happy to do so. Want to get turned on to something new? They’ll point you in the right direction, based on what you like.
I have been coming to Titan Comics in Smyrna since 1990, with the exception of a stint where I stopped reading comics. The store has never been better, never been stronger, and never been more of an asset to the Atlanta comic book community than they are right now.

Love their new location! Their staff is great, and always willing to help you with your pull list.

First let me say the new location behind Best Buy and next to the Dollar Tree and Anna’s is a HUGE improvement. Very clean locale and in a good area! Well laid out with some very awesome artwork.
Now, on to the actual review. As a consumer, and Customer Service Supervisor, the thing that impresses me the most is the times I have picked up a truly terrible comic not knowing it, and the staff has helped me avoid it. They could have EASILY sold me on something I would have hated, but could only have blamed myself for. They care for their customers and won’t sacrifice their happiness for the sake of a sale.
They have a wide variety of every product you could want from this type of store: comics (old, new, and any one you can imagine), Pop figures, Marvel select figures, other action figures, cards for everything from DnD to My Little Ponie, board games, and more!
I just cannot express how awesome the staff here is! They answer my 10 million questions regularly. And they give you AWESOME benefits for having subscriptions with them. If you want something they don’t have they’ll order it for you immediately in most cases.
They gave me, my wife, and our daughter another hobby to enjoy together. I am extremely grateful to Mike, Katie, and Daniel. They’ve earned a lifelong customer for sure!

I gotta say the staff makes this place awesome! I went in trying to get back in to comics and was greeted with open arms. The wealth of knowledge and the amount of passion every person there shows is awe inspiring. I was given a detailed overview of everything I was interested in and anything I might be. There was a wide selection of comics, games and collectibles. The staff was more than happy to order me a few issues I missed and I am now working on establishing my collection. This is how a business should treat it’s customers and I am now a customer for life.
