Business Owner

Dr. Stephen Rothbloom has been in private practice in Georgia for over 25 years. He provides vision care services to patients of all ages. In addition to the general practice of optometry Dr. Rothbloom specializes in contact lenses, treatment of eye diseases and low vision services.

Dr. Rothbloom graduated with a Doctorate of Optometry degree in 1985 from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis Tennessee and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry in 1979 from Georgia Tech.

Dr. Rothbloom has been the vision consultant for the Cobb County Board of Education since 1987. Dr Rothbloom designed and implemented the vision screening project for the Cobb County School System which is responsible for screening over 85,000 children. He is the low vision consultant for the Cobb County and Douglas County School Systems.

Dr. Rothbloom has provided vision care services to the geriatric population by acting as the vision consultant to over 10 nursing homes for over 13 years.

It’s been over two years since i’ve been to an eye doctor that made me feel comfortable so it took me a day to research and read reviews on optometrists and this place has been great thus far. The staff is so friendly and the doctor i have was so sweet and sincere. I was a little sketchy at first solely because i’m very VERY picky when it comes to doctors but she was great! I’m extremely happy to become a new patient here!

Great eye doctor. I saw Dr. Le and loved her. She was super nice and explained everything I would need to know. I also took my four kids here and they were super pleased. Only me and my daughter needed glasses and they had a large selection for both of us. Will definitely be going back,

After my eye exam was done, when i was looking at the frames /​Sunglasses, I noticed that Oakley Sunglasses section was having a note of «not Covered Under Insurance», even when asked for the same thing, employee confirmed Oakley is not covered under VSP Insurance.
This is something not true because last year I got Oakley frames from some other office with VSP insurance only, also I checked once again VSP customer care also confirmed that Oakley brand is covered by VSP & if any office is not making it available to customers then that is not correct.

I have been going to the same Optometrist since I started getting eye exams as a child. I was very hesitant to switch– I like my previous optometry office but the location was just too far for me now. I checked Unilocal and found Rothbloom Optometry with great reviews so I decided to give it a shot. I’m glad I did. Everything was great. Dr. Le is so sweet and very thorough and knowledgeable. My exam went great. All of the staff were great too. As long as I don’t move too far away, I will be returning here for my yearly exams!

Dr. Rothbloom was very kind, patient, and thorough with my exam today. Great doctor. Office is very clean and organized. Their system of working with patients has you feeling important and cared for. I also really liked the technology they have in the office. Prices seem normal/​standard and they offer incentives for buying contacts directly through them. I was pleasantly surprised. I’m happy to have found my new eye dr. Thanks, Dr. Rothbloom and staff!

Dr. Huong Le is the bomb. She is extremely thorough, patient, and explains everything. Gives advice on what is best for the patient not the practice. If you are lucky enough to live nearby bring your trust here, you won’t be disappointed. If its a drive… well…it will be worth it. Also the staff is great too.

I called first, asking about color contacts. I already had a prescription with them, for both contacts and glasses. They said I just had to come in and it would just be a quick test for them. I mentioned I only needed one pair for a costume, and purple.
Turns out I actually needed an appointment! Fine. Make an appointment for 8:45, so I can at least just barely get to work on time after. 30 minutes later I’m finally seen (while walk-​ins are seen before me).
30 minutes just to put samples in my eyes to see if I liked the color. Fine, the violet were alright. 50 dollars?! I have to buy a box of six?! (Noted, at my previous eye doctor I could buy a single pair of color contacts, but they’re further away. Guess where I’m probably going from now on).
It took multiple days and waiting for 30 minutes after my appointment time to get to this point. It only took two minutes to determine the barely-​noticeable purple contacts would work I guess, but I had to buy them in bulk. For a costume.
Going to EyeClectic from now on. They’re further away, but at least they can stick to an appointment.

This office is top notch. They have Saturday hours which is a total plus for those of us who work 40+ hours a week. The staff is so friendly and makes you feel so welcome. The technology is state of the art. The eye glass selection is very large and they are very quick in getting your glasses to you. I was there on Saturday 1⁄24 and my glasses will be ready today 1⁄27. You cannot beat that! I will definitely recommend this office to anyone who is looking for an eye doctor.

Dr. Le and the staff here are incredible! So kind, light-​hearted and genuinely there to serve your needs. I’ve been wearing corrective lenses for over 35 years and I have seen MANY eye doctors but they take FIRST PRIZE! The thoroughness of the exam was unparalleled. Their state of the art technology is incredible. No more flipping lenses in front of you! All automated and incredibly precise! They went above and beyond with supplying me with samples to try, making sure all of my questions were answered. I will absolutely go back and will recommend all my family and friends! If you’re trying to decide whether to go or not –do yourself a favor and just GO! Call them, you won’t be disappointed.

The first thing that drew me in was the ease of setting the appointment– everything was online and there was no need for me to call in– VIRTUAL HIGH FIVE FOR THAT! Then the office was nice… clean. modern– the office staff was pleasant– there was a bit of confusion with me using my medical insurance (since I don’t have a rider policy –no VSP, Eyemed etc), but they rectified it and all was well! My pre-​tester (I believe her name was Maria. I think) she was SO sweet and pleasant– I was TERRIFIED of the puff of air test… but it was painless and she did NOT laugh at me as I squealed with agony at the thought of it happening (it was fine… I over thought the entire thing! lol) Dr. Huong Le was SO pleasant and smart! She explained things to me and had a friendly disposition — I would definitely recommend this place — 5 stars from me!

I’m new to the area and found them through the VSP website. Dr Le and staff were tremendously welcoming, efficient and fantastic. I didn’t have to wait for anything, every question was answered and every portion of the exam was fantastic. Will def use them again.

I have been going to the eye doctor since I was 2 yrs old and I can say without a doubt this is the most intense exam I have ever had. Also the Doctor spends time explaining your diagnosis and any potential problems. This is an awesome eye facility and the staff is very kind and helpful.

I broke my glasses Sunday night. I called Monday morning to see if there were any openings and fortunately there were. The exans were very thorough and Dr. Le explained everything perfectly! I was fitted for both glasses and contacts and I am pleased with both. They are very affordable, friendly and polite. I will definitely return here.

I have worn glasses since 1974 and contacts since 1980. The older I get, the more difficult my prescriptions and fittings become. I returned my glasses and got a refund at another doctor’s office earlier this year due to their inability to handle my vision needs.
I chose this office as it was on my insurance plan and close to where I live. I didn’t need those two reasons. It is a great office, knowledgeable, friendly, explanatory, and patient. Specifically, Dr. Huong Le was incredible to work with (though everyone on the staff actually was).
I want to return… and refer others for sure!!!

Made an appointment for one day. Show up in the pouring rain. Only for them to tell me the appointment was made for another day. Asked if there was anything they could do since THEIR OWN receptionist scheduled for the wrong day. Only kept telling me sorry. Didn’t offer any solutions. Sometimes sorry doesn’t cut it. Please do not spend your money at this establishments. There are tons of other optatricians nearby worth your money.

I have been going to Dr Rothbloom for many years and have love the entire staff. Everyone is friendly and they always go out of their way to help you. Dr Rothbloom always takes his time with each and ever patient and you never feel like you are being hustled out of the office, or if you are just another file. It feels like you are going to see family.
Everyone on the staff is knoweldgable and the care is excellent. I would recommend them to anyone!
