First off… the ONLY reason I’m not giving five stars is because I’ve never tried the food… so I don’t feel as though I can give a true, complete review until I do. Also the parking issue(more on that later). Aside from that… I am a HUGE fan of Rev Coffee. It is near my office and, thanks to my Rev addiction, I now have to get up early in order to stop by there before going to work! It is ALL Rev’s fault that I am getting less sleep every day! First off… the coffee! I love the coffee… love it… smooth with NO bitterness. I can ALMOST drink it without sugar(which is BIG for me!!!). One of my favorite things? They have French-press coffee… my favorite thing when I have the time to sit and enjoy it. When I don’t have time? A nice vanilla latte to go. I also like that they have natural sugar, which is my preference for my coffee. Secondly…the staff is AMAZING! They are unfailingly polite, helpful, smiling, attentive… even at 6:30 in the morning, they are cheerful! Thirdly…it is cute, funky, a little industrial… I like it! Only issue(and not their fault)…not enough parking in front. Although they do have additional parking back behind the building, there is very limited parking in front and only two spaces in front for«to-go» people on their way to work. I wish all the front spaces were for to-go people. Guys won’t understand this, but women will. The back of the lot is ISOLATED. I do not feel in any way, shape, or form comfortable walking when it is still dark in the morning from the back lot to the front and back to my car carrying my purse and a hot cup of coffee. Many, many times, if the front lot is full, I just skip my coffee(BIGFROWN). I know that’s a woman thing… but it is something we have to think about every day. Will update this when I try the food!

I finally feel that I can give an honest review as I have been to this coffee shop on at least 5 separate occasions. I am a fan of the Chai Late, and the Chicken Salad sandwich. They also sale my favorite chips– Zapps Vodoo! My most recent stop was for a quick breakfast. I tried the egg and cheese sammie and must admit that it tastes better than it looks! My only complaint is the noise. In my opinion its a pretty loud coffee shop. I was unable to concentrate when trying to study. This just means that I will only go for drinks and food!

Rev is amazing. I keep their roasted bags of coffee beans(decent selection as well) stocked at home at all times. Very superior, quality product. Ambiance at the shop is great for relaxing or getting work done. Great local, friendly spot… please stop by if you haven’t already to support brewing in the ‘burbs.

Not far from hotel and best choice around, I’m glad I dug through all the Google listings and found Rev, made a great start to the day and I didn’t miss my local espresso and black eye as badly afterward. Highly recommend!

A great coffee spot in an unexpected place — a bland strip mall. Their chai is delicious. Lots of space and outlets, decent music selection that’s never too loud, and a good mix of people hanging out, doing work, and relaxing. The only downside is that their coffee is a little spendy, but if you’re here to do work, you probably already expected that.

I have been exploring coffee shops around the Atlanta area, and Rev continues to remain at the top of my list. Their roasts have the best flavor. Rev’s Silver Comet Blend is the only stuff I’ll make at home. It’s incredibly well balanced and creamy. It’s not acidic and watery like so many places. They have plenty of options for different tastes, though. They make fantastic classic drinks. They’re smooth, rich, and flavorful. The atmosphere is just as wonderful. It’s eclectic and cozy. I love to bring my laptop and work. The service is friendly and helpful, but not over the top. I even had one kid, who I think may have been new, admit he couldn’t answer everything I was asking and ask someone else for help. That, to me, is important, rather than making it up. I love this place and will continue to be a loyal customer.

Never thought I’d find a coffee shop like this in the suburbs. Reminded me of a little coffee shop up in Brooklyn that I use to visit. There’s a small parking lot up front and a bigger one in the back. Plenty of seating, but seats can still be hard to come by when they get busy. Solid reading/studying/meeting spot. I don’t drink coffee, but the teas available were solid. Definitely will go again to try some of their food.

This place makes you want to become a person that spends hours in a coffee shop. Everything about this place reeks of pure Java heaven. Coffee is solid and I feel like if you want to step up your coffee game, this is place to graduate from a specific Starbucks drink to a sophistical coffee connoisseur. The only down side is that they don’t heat the pastries up and their Cuban sandwich had cold pork instead of warm.(To be fair I can be a bit snobbish when it comes to Cubans… so why even order a Cuban from a coffee shop, right? It was husbands idea so blame him!) Overall, definitely a place to frequent.

Rev is #12 on the Atlanta Eater’s Essential Coffeeshop list so I checked it out this week. I really liked the vibe inside. It’s got an eclectic mix of people, creatives, business people, etc. The staff was all really friendly and helpful. The only downside is that it’s in Smyrna so if you live in the heart of Atlanta it’s a bit of a hike. There also isn’t a ton of parking but I got lucky and found a spot right in front.

Funny funky coffee shop. Their coffee was better than average. For average coffee drinkers, this place is fine. They offer beverages and limited baked goods. If you are a purist — skip it! Their barista can’t make a basic dry cap. Funny part is that the place was packed with people… but everyone had ear buds in and on their laptop or phones… no one was conversing ;-) Still, this place has good cheerfulness about it next to an auto shop.

Second time been here, I was still impressed. They are very spacious in regard of a coffee shop. It was not difficult for me to find a cozy couch in the shop and start my work. The background white noise was not too much. Their cortado was top notch, and a great variety in the common espresso drinks. It was stronger than cappucino, and weaker than mochiato. What’s more, most coffee shops don’t have this option. By the way, it’s half espresso, and half milk. Cortado also kept me awake until 2am. Job well done! If it’s ITP, it would definitely be my top 5 options to get work done…

Your local coffee shop. Get a pour over in the morning, have a sandwich, and then grab a smoothie before you leave. I was almost forced into going to this shop as I had to wait for a few hours while my car’s A/C was being repaired next door. However, I’m glad that I was able to check out and hang out at this spot. Its not close to where I live, but if it were, I would definitely be a frequent visitor.

I’m not sure what to say here that hasn’t been said before, but I’ll give it a try. This is a spacious coffee shop that has a definite hang-out vibe. The drinks are a little more expensive than other places, but in return you get a nice open space with good seating and stable WiFi. You can’t ask for much more than that. Other reviews have noted that they have other events. I have only been to drink coffee and do work, so I can’t comment on those directly. However, the size of the venue would be good for gatherings or open-mic type stuff. Overall, this is a pretty cool place especially if you want something different than yet another cramped Starbucks.

Step 1: Drop what you’re doing(even if it’s holding a baby). Step 2: Drive on over to Rev(even through stop lights and signs. Okay, maybe not that. But definitely drop that baby.) Step 3: Order a Crème Brulee Coffee Shake. This sweet concoction is the truth, y’all. And I have to thank the Notorious OTP/Kellie M, for letting me know about this seemingly popular neighborhood hangout. I. DRINKS&FOOD Coffee traditionalists shouldn’t fear this establishment. They have your cold press, cappuccino, Americano, latte, and more. What sets them apart, though, is that they have these awesome cold shakes(maybe called Freezes?). And that’s great for this intense heat that makes me feel like my face is melting. If you’re looking for small bites, they have your traditional sandwiches, cookies, and other goodies. My take: *Crème Brulee Coffee Shake: Jay-Z, Reasonable Doubt, awesomeness. Yessssss.($ 4.75) *Cold Press: No acidic after-taste that will make anyone plenty caffeinated.($ 2.60) **Cuban(Sandwich): Nice slices of ham and cheese with the perfect amount of mustard and dill pickle.($ 7) II. SERVICE Sweetest people ever! They also bring the food and drinks out to you. Can we be best friends, Rev? III. ATMOSPHERE/DÉCOR Awesome local art hung about the room. Plenty of outlets, for mobile workers exist. And yo, it’s in an old garage! I categorize this as FRIENDLYINDUSTRIALHIPSTER. Yassssss. IV. PRICES So freaking cheap. All the coffee drinks fall under $ 5. Food, maybe, between the $ 3 – 12 range. V. OVERALL My favorite coffee shop in Atlanta, so far. I seriously can’t wait to return!

This place is really cute! I just moved here from Texas, so coffee and wifi are essential to my daily home search! Rev Coffee is great because: 1. Nice parking– spaces in front and a lot behind! 2. Inside/Outside tables– and lots of them! 3. Good, fast wifi 4. Food and Drinks. I always get chai. They also had sandwiches, chips, and baked goods. 5. Plenty of tables next to outlets. It’s hard to find a comfy spot in most coffee shops, especially with outlets! So, Rev Coffee is special. Overall, this place is cute and a must-visit!

It’s been a while since I first had the chance to try Rev’s coffee, which is organic, fair-trade, and roasted by the company itself. I was impressed with their beans, and excited when a friend suggested that we meet up at their physical location. We’re teachers, so of course coffee houses are always near the top of our«outside of work» get together list! Rev is a great place to hang out — there’s plenty of space inside, and it’s *open* space with a high ceiling, plenty of seating(tables with metal chairs as well as comfortable cushioned seats if you’re in the mood to lounge) and plenty of original art on the walls. I didn’t look to see if the art was for sale, but it wouldn’t surprise me if this place uses its walls as a showcase for local talent. The menu is simple — plenty of pastries and sandwiches, as well as your retinue of hot and cold handcrafted beverages. I was psyched to try the bacon cheddar muffin(seriously, there is NOTHING wrong with that!) but ultimately went for the Spinach Florentine Quiche. As quiches go, it was just fine — the spinach, eggs, Swiss cheese and bacon crumbles were the same as you’d get anywhere, nothing spectacular, but the *crust* was exceptional. That probably means it was made out of butter, butter, and more butter, but hey. It was scrumptious and left my lips feeling totally smoochable, so that’s a plus. To wash it down, I went with a frozen hot chocolate. I’d never had one of these before and have always been curious. Turns out, it’s exactly what it sounds like. Blend some rich, creamy cocoa with ice and dollop with a generous serving of whipped cream, toss in some chocolate chunks(yeah, watch out for those — they’ll surprise you when you sip if you don’t know they’re coming) and you’re good to go. Prices are comparable to most independent coffee shops — the small drink was 16 oz. That and the quiche totaled a little less than $ 10, pre-tip.

This is my go– to place when I need to get work done out of the house. The atmosphere is very calming, cool, and inspiring. Rev is a great local gem with a great staff and unique menu. The coffee is pretty strong, and they have a huge menu for lattes, from peach to crème brûlée, and they often add new flavored as well. The food is very nice, my faves being the quiche and peaches and cream scone. Yum! I also loved the diversity of the customers: you have your hipsters, business types, glam gals, families and even older corporate types. So great to see so many different types of people coming together in one place. If you are looking for a chill spot to get work done or meet friends, this is the place for you.

Visiting from Portland, Oregon, Rev is like I just stepped into any coffee shop back home. Sitting along the counter, at a table, or in a comfy chair working at my laptop I don’t feel I’m 2600 miles from home. My friends, that I helped move to this area, were exited to find this place. If you come alone or with friends you feel like you stepped into a familiar spot where you don’t feel out of place… And it doesn’t matter if you are 20 or 50. The employees are friendly, welcoming, and down to earth. I know this will be my friends norm in the morning and a favorite. We have been here 3 times in 3 days without disappointment.

The ladies working when I went in were so nice. There are so many yummy choices to choose from on the drink and snack front. After much deliberation I went for The razz — white chocolate raspberry latte. Yep. I also laid eyes on a peanut butter cup chocolate chip cookie so that had to happen. It was a sweet overload in such an amazing way. I was bummed my latte came in a to-go container when I said I was staying there but it was a delicious drink; the perfect amount of raspberry flavor. The cookie was perfection. Loved the ambiance and the space, there was tons of room, table, high top and couch seating. There were puppy treats were in a jar on the bar — LOVE spots that are puppy friendly. One down side is they only have one restroom so there always seemed to be a line. However, overall I would totally check this spot out again if I was in the area.

While searching for a place to IMPRESS a few business associates for a 2:00 coffee meeting, I stumbled upon Rev on Unilocal. What I liked the most right off the bat were the pictures posted showing the size and ample seating. I also read through a couple of the reviews and found that they all pretty much had the same good things to say, so I chose to meet my new friends there. It was a Thursday afternoon and I was a bit taken to see that the place was pretty full. They do not have many parking spaces in the front, but may have more in the back. I was able to parallel park directly in the front, which was good because it was a rainy day. Upon arriving I was pleased to see that the picture that I had seen did represent the true size inside. I was pleasantly greeted when I approached the register by a girl with a very warm smile. I ordered a medium Chi Tea Latte. The total cost of my tea was $ 5.25 including tip. Pretty typical for a coffee shop. There coffee/tea menu was quite large and surely would satisfy any coffee lovers taste. They also had some really yummy looking pastries. After ordering I found that there were only two open tables. I snagged one, but found that my associates had already secured one before I got there! Good deal! All other tables, couches, high top«bar» like area charging stations, and all other places to sit your bum were taken. Also, FYI, the customers that were seated did not look like they were the type to finish their coffee and go. These looked like some die hard coffee shop regulars. So, if you arrive and see the same thing, you may want to really check out the situation before you stand and wait for a seat. My tea was really good. It tasted spot on, without any of that«grainy» aftertaste you sometimes get with Chi Tea. Due to the fact that I was meeting with new associates I didn’t want to hit the high octane stuff and scare them to death, but there was definitely some interesting choices that I will try next time. One of my new friends had a chocolate pastry that looked out of this world! I didn’t want to scare her off by devouring it when she offered me some so I passed. Sure looked good though! All in all I would give this place two thumbs up. Great for small meetings and quite work time. Very comfortable, open atmosphere!
