Quality Tint & Wash

Have Mercy– where do I begin with this tragic and awful experience. The owner of Quality tint & Wash is a LAZY LOSER!!! It serves me right for trying to cut corners on trying to get my brand new car tinted. Shame on me. I was referred to «Quality» tint by a friend who recently got his new car tinted. I just purchased my brand new 2014 vehicle and wanted to get my tinted. After I contacted the owner, i made an appt. and went in on a Saturday to get it done in early November. It took about 3 to 4 hours. After the owner installed the tint, i immediately noticed some imperfections on the glass, like small bubbles, uneven edges etc. when i brought it to his attention, he said that the sun will dry it out, it was still wet. So i said ok and waited 2 days so see if it would change and it didn’t. Upon further inspection of the car, i noticed that most of the cuts and edges on the tint itself was very uneven, and most of the bubbles did not disappear, so i called the owner back and told him that i would like him to redo the tint or refund me my money.
He offered to redo the tint. Once again, i took my precious vehicle back to the owner, he removed the tint and said that the reason the bubbles were there was because of dust particles, (ok really??), is dust also responsible for the uneven edges on the glass too? Any way he made a second attempt on the tint and by this time i was so discouraged and had not faith that he knew what he was doing. once the second application of tint was installed, it was WORSE than the initial one. This time there were creases in the tint, small bubbles and the corner windows were horrific. At this point, i waited another 2 days and tried to call him back. by this time it was mid November near Thanksgiving and he would not return any of my calls. When i finally spoke to him, he said contact him in early December. Well, i’ve been trying to contact him ever since and we’re in January and he still has not called me back.
I’ve made several trips to his shop and he’s never there. Finally, i met with his assistant who was able to contact him on the phone and relay to him that i wanted a refund and wanted the tint removed. unfortunately, it was my loss, he refunded me a portion of my money, and refused to remove the tint. after i received my refund from the assistant, i was relieved to be free from such unprofessional, tacky, lazy, corrupt businessman from Quality Tint. Clearly there was nothing Quality about him or his business. Buyer’s beware! you want a tint job, go to the professionals who have machines to cut your tint. Not no janky loser like Quality Tint & Wash!
At the end of the day, i went to a true quality tint shop to get my tint redone and it looks awesome! I paid a bit more, but it’s the real deal.
