A buddy a I play here often mainly because of the location. This is an extremely short course maybe 4 par fours the whole 18. So not many reasons to pull out that driver… The course at this point in time is in pretty horrid conditions with most of the tee boxes feature zero grass. Even worse are the green conditions which are literally bumpy, It’s like putting on pebbles literally. The staff is young but friendly and the rates very affordable $ 30 for a weekend. Also I find it annoying they act like this is pebble beach or some swanky private course. If you are looking for cheap par three course this for you.

I live very close to this golf course and it’s easy for me to get out for a twilight round during the week. It’s an executive course, but there are a few holes you can use your driver on. The course is in decent shape and the greens are taken care of. The price is reasonable, but you may encounter slow golfers in front of you at times due to beginners on the course.

Terrible tee boxes. Awful pace of play. No ranger telling these old men to stop dropping balls because they can’t play.

Honestly when I went here they acted like this course was Augusta the way they ran things. It wasn’t good service whatsoever. The course wasn’t good and the lay out was challenging and nice but wasn’t as well as they made it out to be. I loved getting instructed by their top notch instructors. Especially Dan if you want one. He’s the best and got me from a ok golfer to a good golfer shooting 40 – 45 through 9 holes. The course isn’t well and service could be way better.

Affordable range balls, but the grass is sparse making hitting difficult. I have sand in my hair after going. Great pitching area and rewards program are the positives. I also wish it had a shaded area, but at least you aren’t hitting on a mat. They have water out for you and clean restrooms inside. Also good parking

the course is a par 3, with a couple of par 4
pace of play is 8 — 12 hours
the practice chipping & putting is pretty solid, but that’s about it
better off going to a real course

Good little challenge. Short course, so you can leave the driver at home unless you want to drive a couple of the short par 4’s. Great place to work on the iron play. Will return. Cheap twilight rates.

Ya know what? I liked this place!
It’s not Augusta National, but damn cheap prices and the people there are very nice! They keep the place in great order. Great for new golfers, as it is very forgiving and fun. Hole 7 or 8, if I remember, is great for newbies going for a 70 hard hole-​in-​one.

Wow! Under new management and it shows. The course is great. The facilities are well maintained and the staff FINALLY is helpful. I’ve played in tournaments at Fox Creek and the new management is involved and helpful.
The course still needs a little work as there are some drainage issues but they are being addressed.
Both Fox Creek and Legacy are gemstones for Smyrna and well worth the time and money. They also have a new membership program and it has been very successful. On those days when you want a shorter, executive course, try these two courses. They are good value.

Fox Creek Golf course is an executive golf course conveniently located on windy hill right next to Legacy which is also managed by the same people. By executive I mean par 3 and 4s and very forgiving to new golfers. I prefer the driving range at fox creek because I can usually see where my ball lands because of how elevated you are. Its an excellent driving range and the prices are very reasonable. Attire is everything from T-​shirts to polos. Plus the cart girl is always smiling (but who wouldn’t when your fishing for tips).
4 Star course, 4 star driving range very convenient location (they recently have redone the greens at fox creek so I put it a step above legacy at least until their greens are redone in 2009)
