In 3 months I will have completed 2 years and over 250 spin classes. Great, great fitness club to belong. 2 locations, good variety of classes, superb coaching, smart, honest, caring instructors. Awesome play lists each and every class. Nutritional counseling available, too. Thank you Spinworks for helping me reach my fitness goals.

I’ve been dwelling on whether or not I should really write this update, as in my heart there are still many things about Spin-Works that I love. The instructors are top notch, their enthusiasm and effort to get to know the students is wonderful. Their two locations are fabulous. I have smiled and felt amazing after every workout I’ve had here. However, some things have changed over the past few months that I just can’t overlook. Many classes they offered other than spin(pilates, weights, boot camp-esque classes) have been replaced with the TRX Suspension Training workouts. While TRX is wonderful, those classes are an extra fee, one that is just not in my budget unfortunately. I paid my membership for the year starting this past January, which was about $ 100 more than it was last year, and now feel like I paid more, but have less classes that are available for me to take. Does this mean Spin-Works isn’t good for anyone else? Absolutely not. I’m sure anyone signing up now would be happy with the spin classes and TRX that is offered. For someone like me though, who is half-way through their year long membership, to have so many things change and feel like I’m paying more for less, it’s quite disappointing. I miss the weights and pilates classes :(

Spin works is great. Different staff have different techniques and so it’s easy to find one that works well for you. Two locations are great however I recently moved and wished they had a studio closer to me! They make signing up and giving it a try for free and they do a great job making you feel welcome. Great studio if the hours and location work for you!

Good Spin program. Two studios one in North Providence one in Coventry. A different approach to spinning and a fun approach to fitness. They use Black lights with glow in the dark pictures done by local artist. This makes it feel less intimidating than other gyms. They encourage you to go at your own pace and require a detailed lesson before starting out. So great for beginners. You will get a great workout and have fun at the same time. You have to check out the artwork at the Coventry studio, which I will review next. Its amazing and will take your mind off you workout! Online scheduling makes it easy for you to check classes. With many different class times and options. Price is relatively cheep and you pay as you go. So if you buy 10 rides, you can use them once a month and not worry about it. A little better than paying your gym membership and not getting anything out of it! Tell Peter, Scott and Kristy sent you!
