History
Established in 2000.
In 2000, Smithfield City resolved that a recreation center would be constructed. They collaborated with Sky View High School to establish a full size recreation center in Smithfield that would benefit the community members of Northern Cache Valley. Recreational facilities were built on to the high school and both organizations utilize them. Updates are continually being made to the recreation center. In 2007, batting cages were added in the multi-purpose gym. In 2010, a second cardio room beefed upthe original and now houses triple the treadmills, steppers, bikes and ellipticals as before. In 2013, the multi-purpose gym received a new floor. We are constantly looking for ways to expand and improve.
