Corner Pizza Co

The first time I went to this place, it was good. So, I returned a second time. I ordered a Stromboli. Something they specialize in. They came out with one that was almost burnt on the top and soggy on the bottom. I wish I had sent it back, but I was with friends. I hated to make them wait. I am afraid to try it again.

Ordered small pizza and wings@ 6:11 pm still waiting for develery@ 7:34. Terrible delivery.

The food and staff are great! We went in (Dec 23) and locals were singing carols and the place was packed. Had to get food to go and the pizza was amazing!

Unexpected pleasure, very very reasonably priced, excellent value, surprisingly fresh and delicious. Spaghetti bolenase halibut casino, tomato caprese and garbage fries were all excellent. The cocktails were pedestrian, but made correctly. A very nice first experience in Smethport

The people were very nice but the food could use improvement… the salad bar could use more variety, the choices for toppings were few and far between.

A good place to stop for lunch on a Sunday afternoon in a strange town when little else is open. It doesn’t look like much from the outside. The inside is plain, old, but clean. Wooden tables and a friendly staff highlight this restaurant. Locals seem to like it. Observing a pizza on a table we passed while being seated, I thought the pizza looked quite good. It seemed that the people eating it were enjoying too. More than pizza is served — subs, sandwiches, burgers, and pasta dishes. We ordered a Barbecued Chicken sandwich and the Corner Burger. Both were good. The chicken sandwich was more sub-​like than it was barbecued chicken. It was good, however.

Corner pizza co’s food is definitely the best around. their pizza is awesome, albeit expensive, but if you are in the area and are craving a delicious pizza this is the place to go.
That being said, my husband and I had dinner there last night, a simple order that should have been really simple for the staff to take care of. But they were under staffed. One waitress to be exact, and that really is unacceptable for dinner service. She finally came over about a half an hour after we had sat down to take our drink order. And then fifteen minutes later our drinks came. And then another twenty minutes later our appetizer came, and then fifteen minutes after that our food came. We ordered the loaded potato chips for our appetizer, which were good, but had to send back because they forgot the bacon. Our dinner was a SIMPLE order of a small Stromboli (delish) for my husband and French onion soup in a bread bowl for me. I do not recommend the soup in a bread bowl, because by the time it arrived, the broth had all soaked into the bread and it was really unpleasant texturally. So I asked for a new one in just a regular bowl. Took awhile for the replacement to come, but when it did, it really was quite tasty and I did end up enjoying it. By the time our bill came and we left we had been there just shy of two hours, which really was ridiculous since we had such a simple small order. what frustrated me the most is the waitress didn’t even acknowledge that we were there so long, and we’re becoming quite agitated. At least we could have gotten something taken off our bill, or even a simple apology would have been nice.
I really wanted to give a five star review, because we have eaten there several times, and it has been awesome, but based on last nights service, we will really have to think twice before dining in again. It’s great for take out though, since those orders were the ones getting all the priority last night. Great food, Terrible service. Please Corner Pizza Co, fix this!
