Pros: Good prices. Good staff. Different scenarios played out in woodsball. raffles for prizes. Cons: Nothing really offered in the staging area. No benches for you to prep your gear. No shade. Now the review. I’m from elk grove. The drive to the place took a good amount of time and there is nothing close if you need to eat or buy non paintball things. After pulling in through the little dirt road we got into the parking area. There was no place to put down our gear. However, Dave was nice enough to offer us a small folding table and we squeezed our stuff on top of it. We got there just a few minutes late so we didn’t get to join the first round. We waited around for about 30 minutes for the first round of players to get back. When they got back and it was time to go up to the field we joined our respective squads and began up. The field is huge! Way too big for my taste. I don’t know how large really… but it feels like we walked over five miles for a day of playing. It was probably close to 30 – 40 players per team that day… and we still had a hard time finding enemy targets. All in all… if you like woodsball, slow games, and hiking… this is a great place. If it’s fast paced, short field, airball… then find another field. One star for pricing one star for staff.

So for my buddies birthday he wanted to get a small group together and go paint ballin. Nothing like acting like you are a killer/hunter to bring joy to your life. I honestly hadnt been paintballin in years and never on a course in the hills with thick trees. We drove up around 9:30, rented all the gear and got started around 10am. I was able to rent a gun, mask, belt for extra paintballs and a big bag of paintballs for $ 40. The first two games we got our royal ass kicked. Like the game was over in 5 – 10 minutes. I even got shot right between the eyes, didnt even know the guy was there. But as the games went along we found our groove and started to dominate. I never died the last 8 games and my buddies and I were working together as a finely tuned machine. Dont get me wrong, I did get hit a couple times in the arm(left a nice bruise), but the paintball didnt explode so I was able to continue. I enjoyed the different courses they had. Also enjoyed how some of the courses were out in the open and some were through the thick trees. After every two rounds you can walk to your truck and grab some water/snack. We didnt get done until a little after 4. So for $ 40 you get to play all day and rent equipment. That is a pretty good price for all day fun. I also recommend wearing camo of some sort because you can really blend in and either sneak up on people or have them walk right to you because they dont see you. Anyway, it was a kick ass time and we are already wanting to come back again. P. S. I was horrifically sore for a few days afterwards and my feet were killing me. Am I a wuss? Probably. But did I look tough in camo? HELLYES!!!

Love this place! Fair prices, great staff, decent equipment(I rent). And so many different courses and all differ pretty greatly. We always get a big group together from work, and cookout for lunch. Bring plenty of food and drinks for the day! Nothing is around.

80% woodsball and 20% speedball. If you like woodsball then this is the place for you. There’s lots of places to hide and sneak up on ppl. Beware of the Predator. Bring lunch, snacks, and plenty to drink. The closest place to eat is about 10miles away. They give you a 30min break for lunch so it’s better to bring your lunch.
