Waited in the drive thru line for 7 minutes. Nobody came to the window, then parked, went inside and had to wait because the lady was taking an order at the window. As she asked what I wanted, I said, «yea I just waited in the drive thru and nobody came to the window & then you waited on them first» slightly aggravated at the customer service because you should really keep an eye on the drive thru if you know you have it open & check on it frequently. Not to mention there were three customers in there at the time and they had all been helped already.

As previously mentioned, this is a GREAT alternative to Starbucks. My husband and I are coffee junkies(we carry our own Keurig for hotel stays) and happily discovered PJs from both a highway sign and then a Google search(top entry). The customer service was top notch and it was refreshing to not have to stand in line. We were two of the four customers at 8a.m., but since they open at 6, it must have been hopping as they had run out of their stuffed biscuits. Hopefully, we’ll get to try them next time we’re passing through. Instead of stuffed biscuits, we tried their banana bread and ham and cheese croissant; both delicious and homemade. This is a coffee shop after all and we asked for coffee that was bigger on caffeine than flavor; which we got. Fabulous find!

I have only been here twice, but for a chain coffee shop, this us a great alternative to Starbucks. Coffee tastes way better and service is better and more real. I genuinely love the ice mocha — it’s rich and light, without being too creamy. The hot latte(mocha and hazelnut) were good, but there’s something I can’t quite place about it. I still thoroughly enjoyed them both, and my overall experience there was great. I will continue visiting this coffee shop, and I will update this review accordingly.

You know that warm fuzzy feeling you get whenever you come home from a long day of work? That’s what PJ’s coffee is like. I came into the café, and decided to order a medium Americano knowing nothing about the place besides that it served coffee. The employee at the counter said,“You could get a large since it’s happy hour and basically be buying a medium.” As soon as I heard that, it was like love at first sight. Being so used to Starbucks and their less frequent deals, I expected a four dollar price tag, and instead my large Americano only came out to two dollars. After I was finished pouring my creamer and sugar, the first sip would ultimately be my decider. As I sipped the coffee, the richness from the Americano was amazing, and the amount of sugar was perfect. The taste from the coffee was heavy, but not too heavy. Just how I like it. This location for PJ’s is spectacular, and the staff is extremely courteous, so if you’re ever in town, don’t be afraid to give it a try.

The coffee was hot and the stuffed biscuit really hit the spot. I found this gem on Unilocal and it did not disappoint! Very reasonably priced and convenient location. I definitely recommend trying some of the pastry goodies!

GREAT iced coffee, near perfect actually(in my opinion) I always tend to find that iced coffee is WAY too sweet, or too strong. I got the vanilla iced coffee, and it has the perfect sweet taste, to take away the general bitterness of plain coffee(again in my opinion) without being over bearing. I opted for 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 bc the menu prices the large iced coffee at 2.70 and I was charged 3.65, so I’m not sure where that other dollar came from??? Also, I was hoping there would be more of a selection food wise as I was wanting something for breakfast, other than a calorie dense muffin, but it seems to be a small chain so I guess I understand not having hot food. All in all, very very good coffee, but I could get a venti at starbucks, which is larger than pj’s, for around the same price.

I have traveled long and far in search of coffee. On a recent trip through Slidell I needed a cup and figured it would be easy to find. Boy was I wrong. The first place was closed and the second didn’t even exist anymore. The reviews for this location looked good, so I plotted a course and off I went. Despite using GPS, I passed this place up. It is right along the road, but for some reason I didn’t see it till I passed it. This location of PJ’s is similar to many others I have visited. It is small inside, but has five tables with three chairs a piece. It seems like it would be a good place to sit and type out a review when it’s slow. In fact, that’s exactly what I am doing right now.(See photo). Thee are a few tables outside, but it doesn’t seem like there are many people watching opportunities. The iced coffee is excellent. At $ 2.95 for a large it is also am excellent value. The staff that are working are friendly, but not overly so. I prefer my baristas to be more personable, but for my first trip I can’t complain. If you’re in Slidell and want a really good iced coffee, PJ’s is a good place to visit.

I la-la-la love PJs coffee. I’m drinking a Mocha Velvet Ice at this very moment. It is so very good. This location has a drive-thru and I like that. A lot. You see, I’m not so much a morning person. So the last thing in the world I want to do in the morning is walk into a coffee shop even though I want the coffee. PJs drive thru? Genius I tell you. Pure genius. I can go to PJs in my pjs! They also have a nice selection of sandwiches and pastries. I’ve had a few and they are quite tasty. Oh. And they were founded in Nola. It doesn’t get any better than that.

Average PJs coffee shop experience. I utilized the drive thru, I drive thru; always a plus. The cashier was very up beat and lively despite advising me that he himself was«caffeine-deprived» I don’t think they have a loyalty system as nice as bucks, sooooo my visits here are limited. I do like their brewed coffee more, but the perks & availability of bucks gets my vote & my coins.
