Honda of Slidell

Poor customer service. I’m not satisfied with my salesman Mimi. she didn’t do anything to make me happy or satisfied.

From my experience, they are a reliable and honest business.
Would recommend to others.

Most over priced place for a full synthetic oil change. 20.00 more that pat peck in gulfport and 30.00 more than the Honda dealer in natchez ms. I only stopped because it was near by when I needed an oil change. I will NOT be back.

I used to bring my car here because they are more local to me than Honda of Covington. However, I stopped bringing it here about two years ago after I changed jobs and Honda of Covington became more convenient.
I had noticed some stuff at HoS that did not seem right. You know how places call you to tell you of other issues they can fix? One time HoS told me they now had a machine that could tell if my coolant or power steering fluid was dirty, and they noticed mine was dirty. What about the previous years I’ve been bringing my car there, not dirty? All of a sudden there’s a machine? I knew better when they’d call me with such requests, but it stayed in the back of my mind.
I started tabulating my service records about a year and a half ago, and noticed HoS was getting me to have work done ahead of schedule. Nothing major, but just enough to make me think they were not looking out for my best interests. Also, I started getting telemarketing calls from them about trade-​ins from numbers that did not always belong to them. I found that very annoying. They eventually stopped after about a year of not bringing my car there.
Recently, I needed to have something looked at, and it was better for me to bring my car to HoS, even with the frustration I had left behind. I knew exactly what the issue was when I spoke to the service person, so it was an easy process. They were able to fix my issue, but on their inspection, they noted my timing belt was in bad shape an would need to be replaced. I knew I had already had that work done at HoC, so I found it hard to believe it’s already in bad shape. I wasn’t taking my car there anymore, so I never called to complain. Then the other day, I get a call from them, asking about the things noted on the inspection. I ask him up front, how did they determine my timing belt was in bad shape, because I had just had it replaced in March. The guy tells me they just go by what records the dealership has, they did not look at it. WHAT? That’s the inspection? He tried asking me about the other things, but I told him I keep track of my maintenance records and I had to go.
Beware of this place for maintenance and know about your car beforehand, otherwise they will try to get you to fix things that don’t need to be fixed.

I always receive great service at Honda Slidell. Mark in Parts especially goes out of his way to take care of me.
