Mark and helping hands did a wonderful job moving me across the country from New Orleans to Columbus Ohio. They got all my possessions there safe & handled all my property with great care. Also, as a special request, they let my cats travel with them because I didn’t know you had to get a Veterinarian clearance to fly with pets. Mark’s helper, Mr. Kenny, pulled over every hour to check on my babies because he’s a «cat lover» too. Now they’re here with me in Ohio, healthy & happy! I would highly recommend Helping Hands for any moving job, big or small. I would recommend Mark and his crew to my friends for all of their moving needs also because I have that much confidence in them! Too bad I couldn’t go higher than five stars on Unilocal because they deserve more!

After finally getting my property moved to New Orleans, LA i needed to unload my cargo van with boxes n furniture. I called around to a couple places that I found on Unilocal.Helping Hands moving services saved my day. Be cuz I was about to give up. They were prompt showing up for the initial job and this is with 2 hour notice. The price was on point and Mr. Fox the owner was very professional and courteous! I recommend this moving company for sure!

Was searching for help with moving furniture in my Fathers house. Needed some one with knowledge and local… Saw that Mark’s company had good reviews. Now I know why. Mark and hls helper AJ. were great! Careful and so hard working!!! Did everything I asked of them and More. So careful with the antiques. and treated the other furniture like it was just as valuable. HH is a small local business. The owner, Mark has been a mover for years and just started his own company. He’s very personable, an honest businessman and can command a good move (as good or better than most professional companies I have moved with).
They did small things that make a good move, such as holding the elevator for the other tenants, setting things aside in the lobby and talking to people about the moving truck placement. Nothing got broken when they moved me, so I can’t attest to any insurance things.
They just move furniture and boxes and pack up as needed so you have to rent a budget truck on your own and you should get a dozen extra blankets or so. They also asked to pay cash. The cost was very reasonable and their phone response was prompt.

I called Mr. Mark when the movers I hired didn’t show up on our Saturday morning moving day. They showed up within 2 hours IN THE RAIN and loaded our truck, for an amazing price. My husband and I couldn’t be happier with Mark and his «Helping Hands» moving company. We had driven 2200 miles and were exhausted when we arrived in New Orleans and Mark was the first person we met here. He was so friendly and welcoming and did such a great job that we knew right away we had made the right decision moving here. He and his helper were fast, efficient and professional. It rained heavily the entire time they were unloading our U-​Haul, yet they maintained a cheerful attitude and nothing was affected by the rain. We were very impressed by Mark and Butler’s efficiency and courtesy. What a great welcome to the great city of NOLA.

Mr. Mark moved my GF’s thangs from her apartment into a 15-​foot U-​Haul truck.
Him, and his boys were extremely professional, polite, and pleasant to deal with.
They actually seemed like they gave a f*ck about her stuff — which is always a nice surprise.
Most movers aren’t that great. The best movers are Japanese movers. But these guys were pretty good, certainly.
