I wish this place would advertise more bc I never want it to shut down. It has THEBEST carrot cake on earth! I love it! It has so much cream cheese filling that it weighs probably 20lbs! And they use real carrot too so it makes it fresh. I really love this cake and order it every christmas!

Love this place. My mother in law ordered a cake from here for my bridal shower in 2012 and I can’t stop thinking about how delicious this cake was. Next time I am in town I will definitely be stopping by. Do yourself a favor and try one of their cakes.

Truly a bakery. Real pastries. Taste the difference! Try an assortment of cannolis, macaroons, carrot cake, petit fours, mini eclairs, iced cookies, etc. So many yummy things to choose from! This is the place to go if you want something really special. As for the price… very reasonable for the quality, and the treats are large enough to split.

You’d never know by looking from the outside that a gem of a bakery lies within this small space. Located in a strip mall on Robert Boulevard, F.O.M. Bakery is a bakery that stands in a class of its own in the Slidell area. F.O.M. is a locally owned European influenced bakery specializing in cakes and pastries. I have never ordered a cake from here, but I do stop in occasionally to ooh and ahh over the pastries and try to choose which ones to leave with. It’s not an easy thing to do. They have chocolate cannoli, chocolate covered strawberries, peanut butter balls, coconut pecan bars, cream puffs, eclairs… it goes on and on. It’s around $ 15 for a dozen, so it’s definitely not something that’s cost effective to do all the time, but the pastries here are so special and unique that they make the perfect thing to pick up for special occasions. Also, a fun fact about the name. F.O.M. stands for Fishers of Men. I highly recommend this place and think you’ll love it as much as I do.

Ordered a birthday cake. When I came in to get it they could not find the order, then told me they ran out of icing to write Happy Birthday, then they did not have a box large enough to fit the cake so they stuffed it into a smaller box. They charge 3x what the Walmart bakery does and the quality is no better. back to Walmart whAT ANEXPENSIVEWASTE
