Accents and things is a locally owned business in Slidell that sells high end and hard to find items such as jewelry, bath products, silver, handbags and baby gifts.
My sister loves Trapp candles and I like to get her one each year for Christmas and this is the only brick and mortar store near me that I’ve been able to find them.
They also sell the Department 56 Christmas village and Halloween village pieces.
The owners are extremely nice and helpful. I’m sort of surprised they’ve been in business so long, however. I find everything in this store to be really expensive. Maybe they have some really great sales.
If you’re in a hurry and need a gift, this place is worth checking out. They also do free gift wrapping with a purchase.
If you have a little more time, though, I think you’d be better off searching online. Even with shipping costs I’ve found buying online to be more economical.
