You can get every thing you want at Alice’s restaurant — for breakfast for sure. If you’re going out for breakfast in Skowhegan, this is the place to go. Eggs, pancakes, breakfast sandwich and really good coffee — cooked and served by people who card about what they’re doing.

Hungry and in need of a hearty meal, we found Alice’s Restaurant on our drive through Skowhegan. It hit the spot! Crispy bacon adorned the fresh tomato and lettuce on the BLT, the onion rings were delicate and battered perfectly, and the garden salad had romaine lettuce, rather than the typical iceberg. Additionally, the Monte Cristo had the sweet/savory combo you look for, and the cheeseburger was piping hot and perfectly seasoned. Lastly, our server was delightful, and efficient. We would absolutely eat here again.

The breakfast fare is abundant, fresh, and deliciously home made. The pancakes are huge, take up the entire plate and can be filled with fresh mixed berries. The corn beef hash is like nothing you have ever tasted. Huge chunks of corn beef, carrots, cabbage, potatoes, etc. The French toast was thick with a crispy exterior and warm center. The eggs were cooked perfectly. Quick and friendly service and very reasonable prices.

We got breakfast to go and it was amazing. Eggs, bacon, homefries, toast, omelettes, even the hot chocolate was yummy! Great service both on the phone and in person. We will definitely be back!

They got me with their homemade biscuit. Off the beaten path, but we took the risk after reading just one Unilocal!review, then decided Alice’s needed more. Can you believe they serve my favorite kind of tea? The décor is fun, the prices are cheap and the food was satisfying.

I went to Alice’s Restaurant because I was told it was the only place to get breakfast after noon in Skowhegan. Boy am I glad I did! The corned beef hash here is AMAZING. The small breakfast was so big, it came on two plates!
