Pier 1 Imports

This is a nice Pier One. I usually go here to get their unscented candles. The prices are good and the employees are usually super nice and helpful.

I came in here today to buy a cushion for my papasan chair. I usually look around all over the store before I asked a sales associate where an item is located. I probably missed it so I decided to approach a store associate to ask where the items is located. Then only word I said was excuse me and this was here answer word per word: «I am with a customer right now… Go to the front and someone else will help you.» Then She proceeded to continue to wipe the patio table display.
I would just like to apologize to that store associate for taking up her time to stop wiping that patio table. I knew that there was no «customer» but that’s okay. Your rude demeanor is unacceptable. I was a sales associate once so maybe you were just having a racist day… Oh I am sorry… You were having a bad day.
Yup… I will make sure to NEVER go back to this store. Thank you old white lady store associate for your «hospitality» if that’s what you call it.

If you like a lot of home décor trinkets and/​or knick-​knacks then this Pier 1 Imports may be right for you. The selection here was A-​OK. The store is well organized and very clean. Customer Service was hospitable. I enjoyed spending an hour in here browsing, and ended up purchasing an item that I can utilize in my backyard patio and/​or at Ravinia. It’s a beautiful dark copper (almost chocolate brown with some golden tones running through it) lantern. It was nice to find that it was «on sale» so early in the season. Surprise!

I loveeee all their knicks and knacks but I’m like that in general.
I didn’t really get to interact with the staff that much so I don’t have a lot to say but if you have some spare change (well not literally just change their stuff is actually kinda pricey) I would go and browse.
I really want a candle from there for some reason… and the decorations that come with it too… :D

Big store with mega selection. Prices reasonable — wait for their sales! Easy parking. Last weekend had pretty little soaps for a buck — great to keep on hand for quick gifts. Always greeted upon entering. Stock nicely displayed. Clerks will help you and offer advice; aren’t as snobby as in some of the mall stores. Love it here!

I love this store. It’s never super busy and always well stocked. There are plenty of clearance and sale items to be found, and plenty of help offered. I love their pear scented candles (that they had last Thanksgiving), and I hope they bring them back.
Their furniture is reasonably priced, and their décor changes with seasons. Whenever looking for something unique, you should check out Pier 1.

This location is great. They have plenty of parking and a great big store. There’s lots to be found here and you can easily spend a few hours just browsing around!
