I went in here recently to get some workout clothes and I have to say the staff was so helpful and nice. It was my first time buying anything in there and they really couldn’t have been more helpful.

I have visited this store many, many times and have never encountered bad customer service, ever. If anything it at times is over solicitousness. The staff is so awesome if they see you with a couple of items in your hand, they’re very quick to take them off your hands and start you a fitting room. I am always greeted when I walk in, a pleasant thank you when I leave. The return policy is very pretty much 14 days unless it’s a final sale item. The staff is always approachable and they have even called other stores for me if I’m looking for an item they don’t have in my size! The brand itself is totally awesome the staff makes it a great place to shop.

I am going to give this store the benefit of the doubt. Maybe, just maybe, when they first came to the Chicago area they were semi-decent with customer service. I am one of those individuals who has lots of «disposable» income, so I went here with my 20-something niece. I was ready to drop some serious cash at this store, but you know what, the customer service was so awful that I thought NO F-en way am I going to spend several hundred bucks here when I can go to Fabletics or other places that offer excellent customer service. We were completely ignored when we walked in the door. We walked into this store on a Friday afternoon. No one greeted us or cracked a smile or said«May I help you find anything» or «Do you need any help» or «Hello» or «Hi, how are you today.» There were two employees at the front area. One young blonde lady behind the cash register didn’t even look up from her cell phone. I guess she was too busy sending a text and making plans for her weekend. The other employees were too busy talking with each other to really notice any customers entering the store. In fact, I predict that this store will close in the future and will not be here five years from today. My niece was there to purchase a bag(not even real leather) for her books when she heads back to college in a few weeks. She dropped $ 128 for the bag. When I asked my niece if anyone approached her to ask her if she needed any help. She said, «No, not at all.» She tried on several yoga pants and three tops. She had plenty of cash to purchase these items — and other stuff — but in the end she was turned off by the stand-offish and snobby attitude of these employees that she decided NOT to purchase the three tops and two yoga pants. Maybe at one time the employees used to treat their customers with respect. Maybe at one time they had great customer service. Maybe at one time they cared and were happy to have a job. I guess this is NOLONGER the case, because we didn’t receive any customer service. Non-existent really. I purchased two cool headbands that are slip proof($ 12 each). The employee at the register never informed me that ALLTHEIRSALESAREFINAL and nothing can be returned here. WTF! When the cashier rang me up she said, «Your total comes to …» and that was all. No «Thank You for shopping with us today» and no simple«Thank You» or «Have a good day.» Most of the employees were hanging out in the back(near the dressing room area) sounding like the teacher on Charlie Brown«Wa, wa, wah, wah, wah, wa, wa!» Customers were standing there waiting to try on tops/bottoms, but these employees proceeded to ignore the customers, continued to have a conversation, finish the conversation and then decided to ask customers, «Do you want to try those on?» WTF kind of customer service does this store have? At this Lululemon the customer does not come first, and the customer does not count. SPENDYOURMONEYSOMEWHEREELSE! If I am going to spend $ 80 to $ 100 on yoga or running capri pants then I expect excellent customer service. In fact, I expect them to kiss my ass and cater to my every whim. Will I go back again? Absolutely not. This store is AWFUL! As I indicated earlier in this review, I have plenty of disposable income and was ready to drop some serious $$$$$ at this store. In the end, due to the crappy customer service, which is non-existent, I took my business to my on-line«go to» store for yoga and running gear. THEYHAVEVERY, VERYSTRICTRETURNPOLICY, so you better ask(because they are not going to tell you about it). Hey, if you buy anything here you better really, really, really, really like it, because IF you change your mind later, and decide to return it, you are totally screwed up the ying-yang.

BEWAREOFTHEIRSTRICTRETURNPOLICY! I was so excited to see this store open at Old Orchard because it was so close to home, and I was tired of driving up to Northbrook Court. I have been buying lululemon clothes for years and was a big fan until recently. I purchased two workout tanks and the wonder under crop last week. When I wore the no limits tank for about 20 minutes, my shoulders began to hurt from the straps digging into the skin. When I got home from my workout, I looked in the mirror and the straps had rubbed my skin so badly. There were painful red marks across the backs of my shoulders. I have been working out for years with all sorts of tight fitting tops, and I have never had one hurt me so badly. I thought I would just return it for something different since this was a special circumstance. I went to the store and was rudely told that no matter what your story, they will not take a return if you have the tags off and have worn it. I called their corporate offices with the same result. I’m very disappointed in their customer service. I’m an Athleta girl now. Yes — I do have to drive up to Northbrook, but it’s worth it. They have the«try it for a work out» return policy, and I’ve never had any problems with their customer service.

Love this brand new addition to Chicagoland lululemon. Nice store layout & especially friendly staff working in the store. Which is not always consistent with lulu employees. They hit the mark with the sales associates in this location. I’m surprised it has taken so long for lulu to open at old orchard as it is a natural fit. Happy they are here!

There is no need to sell me on the brand because I love and live in lulu. Having such a great staff on the floor helps too! I love the staff at this store! They are my favorite staff out of all the lulu’s in Chicagoland. Always bubbly, friendly, and obviously love working at lululemon.
